Just a heads up for anyone watching and looking to do this yourself.
Welding the rail is pretty essential because you will not get the 4th bolt in by drilling. The area to drill into the rail is under the seat mechanism and there just isn't enough clearance and if you try you're most likely going to fuck something up.
So it's either weld it together or sit pretty with 3 bolts which I think is what the other guy mentioned in his own tutorial.

Hi, I'm currently working on swapping the inner rails on the passenger seat but I'm running in some trouble.
The middle mounting point of the seat rails doesn't sit flush against the seat pan. It looks like this is because of the backside of the seatbelt mount hitting the seat pan.
Looks like you might have the same (9:40) Did this give you any trouble lining up the 4 mounting points of the seat to the car?

They are. Imo prelude seat tje most comfortable factory seat.

Prelude seats sit lower than EK seats. I think the Del Sol seats might have been a bit lower than Prelude seats, but they might as well be even.

Trying to put the 88-91 prelude seat in my 95 subaru impreza wagon, hopefully it won't be too difficult.
