You guys can't build V8's to save your life. AMG may be an exception, but a little as 4L with turbos is not a real V8. Call me when European V8s are making 2000+ in street cars.
C Genious hahaha 900bhp from a 4l but you lot need over 7l to get 500bhp, and we cant build engines hahaha
northern marine I think you are comparing a forced induction engine with a naturally aspirated one. People make over 2000hp when adding boost to the LS7, European has fuck all on that kind of power. The only European V8 that deserves legitimate credit in my eyes is the AMG 6.3L, and it's power numbers are identical to the reserved LS7, and it weighs much, much more. Trying to compare a European V8 to a US built V8, like the world renown LS series, is like comparing a sharpened stick to a Eurofighter. I am not American either so I am not biased, it's just the truth. US V8's are reserved, and have minimal power unleashed from the factory and can be modded to the hills. European V8's come strung out almost as high as you can, and don't have much room for much more power, in most cases. People in America make over 2000hp with junkyard pickup truck engines, you couldn't get 1500 out of a Ferrari if you had 2 million to do it.
C Genious I'm talking production engines, no American v8 can produce a lot of power, it never has been able to, they are lazy and simple engines that have been around for decades. Europe produce the best v8's by a huge margin, they get so much power from very little whereas US engines have massive capacity with little power, and its funny you should mention forced induction because how did Chevrolet get 600+bhp from the zr1? lol
show me proof of a "junkyard pickup" engine that makes 2000bhp.
oh and its not just v8's, lets look at the viper, a few years back they had 500bhp from 8L while over at lamborgini they had 550bhp from half the size lol
northern marine Lamborghini is the designer of the Viper V10.... The reason you don't get 2000hp from the factory is because it is too much. Every engine is set to a limit. There is always ways and room to make power on a pushrod V8. Not ever customer wants a 500hp sports car, but if they do, it is very simple to get it there. You are being very ignorant if you think US V8's are shit, because it's obvious to every non-fucktard out there that they are the best in the biz. Europe would make larger displacement engines but they don't because of all the environmental laws and fees that comes with more cubes. The is no replacement for displacement. LS torque figures will tell you that. Lol Ferrari 712hp, 480lb-ft. Ha no wonder Mustangs can kill Euro trash.

El1iP3S01D long tail version wont be needed this time, F1 long tails were made to give them a chance to compete against the Porsche gt1's and the Mercedes gtr which were dominating at that time

Look at Spa from 1966 in the movie Grand Prix. That was the original course in my day. Then look upp youtube videos on what it looks like now. Some show this closed off section that's used now. Trust me, this is not the original course!

yurixruz The P1 GTR sounds more brutal than the standard P1. Wait until you hear it in real life. There were 6 different P1s at Spa that day, and a P1 GTR, so the difference in sound and volume was pretty clear. :)
