Wow! That place is crowded! I fish several tailwater in East TN, but if I pulled in and saw that many people fishing I would just go back home. I have fished in CO several times, and many days I never got within hundreds of yards of another fisherman. Interesting to see the contrast from different regions.
Haven't fished their since high school. Its a beautiful area. Im in Northeast MO. Great video and really cool you could use your uncles old fly rod. I love that kind of stuff. History and traditions.

Yeah it’s always like that here, the trout aren’t native they stock them in a natural spring

Yessir, I’ve had to rebuild it a few times but makes each trip a little more special
Awesome man I live in the kc area of mo and I have been there
Defiantly worth the trip! I do prefer the beginning of summer when there is less moss, thanks for watching guys!
I heard if you go in winter no one is there and there is less pressure and San won worms work very well in winter
How long of a leader were you using? Ty
I use one almost as long as my rod so about 5 ft
Oh and what size wooly? Tu
I think it’s on a size 7 hook
What weight rod and line were you using? Ty
To be honest I’m not sure just a Walmart rod and the cheapest sinking line I could find at the fly shop 😂
@manvsdeer is that sinking Tip? Or totally sinking line? Ty
@@michaelhamilton5418 all sinking like
I fish at Bennet and Taneycomo a lot and it must be an awkward feeling recording a video and talking to yourself with everyone around.
Lets_fish_already _
Yeah 😂 I’m used to it now but the first few times I felt awkward as hell
