And that's why the Jada figure wins. The fact the figures are comparable while there is a significant difference in price point, gives Jada the win in my opinion
I feel like you can’t lose either way. Both are great figures, the difference is if you want a specific game or not. If you want SFII then Jada is the way to go but if you want a good solid general Ryu figure for any collection or Smash then Sh Figuarts fits with more things.
The Jada figure got Ryu correctly tho, people think Ryu is a very muscular guy and Jada made him exactly like that and something about Jada also feels nostalgic and looks like an 80’s kind of great characters and since i grew up with SF it gave me nostalgia every time looking at it. Technically if you want to feel nostalgic get Jada’s but if you want the modern day version get shf
@@GeorgesStuff- which two, the S>H Figuarts ones or the jada ones, or is it the same S.h Figuarts ones, well, both SHF figures looks the same, except there's some changes to it.
IMO the Jada Ryu looks better than SHF. Chunli is about even but i prefer the face of the SHF. I'm very concerned about what the Jada Cammy is gonna look like. It's looking like her body is gonna be nerfed to more of a Olive Oil (from Popeye) body type. The rest of the line that's been previewed and Fei Long, look great. Especially DJ and at their price point it's hard to argue the value.
They're not. Jada has lots of QC issues especially the ratcheted joints chewing the plastics and the hair coming unglued. You dont see those things in a SH Figuarts even having them for several years. Mine is just a few months, and my Chunli couldn't even stand anymore because the ankle and knees are so loose
I bought 2 Chunlis already and still have issues. My first purchase has several issues, and my new one is already showing signs of looseness: 1. Hair and buns coming unglued. 2. Extremely loose ankle joints, making it hard to stand without a stand. 3. Paint chipping and smudges, especially on softer plastic parts. 4. Silver paint on bracelets is chipping. Also, my Ken and Ryu (white gi) figures are showing signs of looseness in the knee joints, seemingly due to the ratchets chewing away at the plastic. This isn't a unique occurrence, as all four of my figures experienced the same issues. Additionally, independent reviewers without "free" review units have reported similar problems. I hope Jada Toys fixes these things as they are viable options for high-end SH Figuarts.
It has been a while since I swapped out the S.H.Figuarts face plate. I just remember it not being a very pleasant task to do. For the Jada Ryu, I was content with the one he came with.
Jada Toys is Dicking Around with the other wave's 3 4 and 5 they are taking forever with this whole Street Fighter thing like if they could not rap up the other wave's their own fault for showing fig's ahead of time without even knowing if they could handle them at all😢
I have both figures and i prefer the SH one. Maybe i'm just unlucky, but i bought the jada toys figure twice and, despite the figures are original, they seems fake for the quality. Sure, the sh figuarts is more expensive, but (for me) is just better. Just my opinion and sorry for my English. Greetings from italy!
Significantly i like the sh because the overall is kinda cool😊 pls pin me

technically the jada figure does come with a backdrop too as all the jada SF figures come with backdrops of their levels.

Tough one. Both are great. But Jada is cheaper.😂❤
I prefer the Sh Figuarts Version of Ryu, especially with his 2nd Outfit.
Whats the difference between the two?

Jada has more street fighter characters lined up and they are doing it faster than shf
Shf looks better.

Thnks for the review. I have figuarts ryu Ken and akuma, wanted to knw how it fits in wit Jada toys SF n they don’t look bad at all.
Im late but how does the s.h figuarts ryu scale with the storm collectables evil ryu?
Unfortunately, not well. They are not the same scale.
Jada Toys is shockingly close in quality for the price. Makes it an easy choice for me.

@@momo.ru-kun still, it's like a fraction of the price. Easily worth it, imo and more of an impulse buy than an $80 and up purchase.

Jada toys Ryu is just PERFECT no questions about it. This is RYU
Sh figuarts may be selling it as a sf 5 figure but it is way closer to a sf 4 Ryu
Figuarts Ryu looks as close to the SF5 version as the Jada Ryu is to the SF2 version… its subjective.
Did you try swapping their heads?

@@BullstagfiguresI think he meant swapping the jada head with the figuarts & vice versa. I was wondering the same thing.
jada ftw..i bought it today...for 49 euros...s.h. was priced 135 lol
Your audio is really low.
Everything is great about Jada except the skin color. Asians skin are yellowish, but not that yellow. This almost looks like Ryu had jaundice lol.
Jada toys win
