@biggysmoovemusic7777 These are really cool. I bought it to use for my shop rags. If I was somewhere that didn't have in unit laundry, I'd definitely have this.
@petermaz701 They're great. I have this and the full size version. I'd also love to find a belt drive version, all the belt drives I find are very far away or in very poor condition and way too expensive.
@matheussilva6914 I don't think they ever sold Brastemp branded machines here in the US, I know they were Whirlpool built machines, though, and we had other brands here.
What bothers me about Brastemp's current machines is that the engine kit lasts no more than 3 years; they are disposable and horrible machines, the old ones like this are much better.
Kkkk lá não existe Brastemp! É a Whirlpool que é a mesma fabricante da Brastemp aqui. As máquinas deles sempre foram mais robustas do que as Brasileiras.
These machines are so unique. I feel like even today they would’ve been popular for people who live in apartments/condos with no in unit laundry.

@@brunoshow124 me too. And they’re not even difficult to move around
Nice machine I’ve had many of them. They last a very long time.

@@brunoshow124 to be honest with you I had both and I actually preferred the belt drive to the direct drive. It's smoother.
Clockwise spin.
Doesn’t the full size DD spin counterclockwise?
@wmalden The full size DD also spins clockwise.
@@brunoshow124Yes the older belt drives also.
@@brunoshow124 my avocado green belt drive portable spun, counterclockwise.
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤EXCELLENT washing action!!!!
Also, everything always stayed under the water, unlike today's HE machines!
Brastemp today no longer has the quality of the old ones.
@matheussilva6914 that's the same story with most things produced today.
@brunoshow124 in the country where you live there are large examples of Brastemp, for example, 12 to 17 kg or not

Unfortunately, today Brastemp only produces horrible inefficient machines with disposable engine.
@@matheussilva6914 isn't Brastemp a Whirlpool brand?
@brunoshow124 here in Brazil Brastemp has 12 to 17 kg all do not work.
Brastemp here only throws garbage here in Brazil.
