David, I'm really enjoying this series! The purple color is so unique, i love it! anything is better than the green, haha. New seats look great! It would be awesome to see the wide arch kit on it. Keep those videos coming, I love your work!
Thanks mate, really appreciate the comment. Im still not convinced on the purple or the wide arch, i think i would need some beefy spacers to fill them and then im not sure on what to do at the rears in terms of arches.
I love the purple more every time I see it, great work with the seats, on the wide boy kit I’d say price up new wheels and stuff before you make that decision as you don’t want to do the arches and then find the wheels, tires, etc are just going to cost far too much. Ask the question on the scooby groups if the standard drivetrain can take wider wheels without compromising the reliability of the connecting components. That weather at the end really makes you appreciate power tools 😂, never had them when I was doing cars 25 years ago as they cost a fortune
I agree, i think the wide body just isnt viable in terms of spacers required and cost of wheels tyres etc, would come out to more than i paid for the car ha. Ive also seen that the imprezas dont like spacers so i think normal wheels and standard arches for the time being. I remember watching my dad work on cars before power tools, even the simplest of task takes double the time.
@@DavidMcBay yeah even just a simple impact power tool is something we simply didn’t have, it was a case I’ll pull on the spanner and you hit it with hammer 😂 Don’t get me wrong I have seen scoobys with wide boy arches and wheels and they look fantastic, I just wonder how often it wrecks a driveshaft or if it’s causing premature damage to the diffs

I just had an email from Autobrite Direct that they have an Easter sale with up to 70% off 500ml bottles of products they have in stock just in case you don't have enough products. In case you wondered but you did ask me a while ago to keep you informed if they had any offers on. My list at the moment is nineteen bottles at just over £100 but I need to check what products I have already but the prices are mostly £5 to £8 a bottle so it's kind of a no brainer.
