There's a walk called castle eden dene in Peterlee...well worth a try. From looking around you wouldn't realise it was there but once down into it, it covered some distance. We found it by accident after putting the wrong postcode in the satnav when we tried to get to this castle eden lol
I'll keep this in mind. I once got lost on a walk with a friend we ended eating lunch in a remote part of North Pennines. It was untouched. A tree had fell over the river there we got some great photos. We ended just going home after spending a few hours there. I wish I pinned it to Google maps now.
