I don't know if it's better for your finances but could you front-load your Roth IRA so that if it's in the market longer and then continue your house savings and maybe the Christmas sinking fund? I haven't done the research so I'm not sure which is the best way.
I’m not sure either. I would think the longer the money is in the account the better.

Btw… you get the Roth increase even though you are not 59 yet? Good for you since you’re not 50 until the very end of the year 🎉
For 2024, the Roth IRA contribution limits are going up $500. That means you'll be able to stash away up to $7,000 in a Roth IRA in 2024, up from $6,500 in 2023. If you are 50 or older, your maximum contribution limit is capped at $8,000.

$3000 net minus S1,219 month expenses =$1,780 left over.
Divide $1,780.00 ÷30 days = $59.34 daily allowance. USING **APRIL 2024** CALENDAR: Weekly 1= $356.04
Week 2 = $415.38
Week 3= 415.38
Week 4 = 414.38
Week 5= $178.02
$1,780.20 (after fixed expenses)
- $380 (other expenses)
=$1,400
You might save more if you don't spend all or some of your daily allowance & just move it to your savings after a couple of days.
