Who was that joke guest? Trash opinions, but he set off alarms being from Detroit but not mentioning one Detroit rapper, like Detroit didn't have some nice local legends that I knew about in the 90s and 00s in rural Virginia.
The man rated Jay-z as the highest. That’s why he’s not ready for Akala or Lowkey.
He would like someone saying Gucci-man 20 times 😂😂😂
music is meant to be inspirational and educational in my opinion
Really value having him speaking so honestly about his opinion and reaction. It’s good that he wasn’t 100% positive. That’s what we want, to see how a new, foreign listener feels when hearing uk rap
Yeah there's more than enough channels that just say every single song they react to is amazing. I get it, they wanna keep their viewers coming back but it's good to get some genuine reactions bc fake liking everything doesn't benefit the UK scene or let the artists know what'll be successful in the US. Real constructive criticism and genuine love where it's due, will.
Don in the Nike cap was not vibzing to this at all. That's the beauty of music - it ain't for everyone.
This is a legendary freestyle though.
That's what music is...its knowledge...OK.. music comes in many forms ...but are u serious that u don't want to learn anything from music..u would rather read a book..That's what makes lyrically brilliant artists like.dylan..Reed...2 pac..Eminem.. give me a f***ING song like anarchy in the UK.. sex pistols any day than a book.
This is what rap was originally about if you don't get it you don't get rap 😢
This is legendary ferg 💯
Akala goated man, good choice to put Detroit dude on to
Get him to listen to Lowkey fitb part 1 😂 Lowkey will chat to you about drill and youths carrying guns
The problem that akala is explaining in his rap is the guest, his brainwashed
Akala is the goat
I fell in love with rap because of Bone Thugs
Ferg can you do more Casisdead? His new album did huge this year. I'd recommend the song Marylyn
You gotta get Mal and Rory on here soon, I know Mal has shout you out on the pod before
great reaction my guys, akala has several interviews on the news regarding race and knife crime you should check out, he is also a public speaker at oxford as well as other universities. his interviews i would highly suggest for some really inciteful content, probably should of shown him the swiss daily duppy or even some of the ghetts tracks. one love
Check out his Oxford address (proper lecture ) and or his interviews then. He is a great rapper tho also but I can understand your man. 👍🏿🙏🏿
Akala’s🙌🏼😍
The beat is called grime in the UK. A uk style of rap. Thats UK style.
Bro truth of the matter is the beat was trash. I can understand what buddy is sayin. The beat & thde flow dont quite go together even tho the message is fire. Akala does lecture u can look it up on youtube
Play avelino 101 barz
Check out all his fire in the booth’s. You can see his growth as a rapper and he has different messages in all of them.
