Happy Birthday Sam! Those rock outcrop pings came out great. Very convincing. It’s always important to have some photo reference for your scenery and detail work. I look forward to your progress. Enjoy your day. See ya next time.
Peaks 47 I look forward to it, you will need to make a couple of finials, I broke them when I dropped it and couldn’t find them anywhere .. I did search 🤪
Hi Sam your representation of the Derbyshire Peak District is amazing, you have captured the landscape and environment to its full extent.. Real quality modelling to create Peaks 47 mate stunning. I know I live there.
Lol, already watched crash corner, please keep up these educational videos. I can understand how much time needs to be put aside. Next project please, .
Another great video Sam you've done an exceptional job on those cliffs. Reminds me of my days being based at Miller's Dale. Just wondered if you could add a little yellow occa colour on them in the crevices to represent the lichen growing on them, its rarely green as its growing in stressful conditions. That bridge is now looking like it's been there forever. Great job Sam and did I hear it's your birthday if so have a good one mate cheers Andy
Nice work Sam the hills are looking great i have been working on the scenery on my layout i am in the progress of filming it all but it is getting there slowley great job.
Hi Sam, interesting progress and the result is super. The blending in with real stone makes the scenes very realistic and nicely harmonious. Well done ! Just a remark: sometimes the music is too loud compared to your voice and is shocking to the ears, especially wearing headphones. Overall a beautiful & interesting build. Would it be possible to show us a layout tour - even the scenes not finished ? Thanks for sharing et bon courage. Greetings, Filip
looking really good Sam, the rock n grass effect came out well, looks like the picture you put up. Top Notch modelling. Bridge is really settling in to the scene now, great idea using carpet tac. All the best. Brian.
Great scenery, your track weathering looks really good, my next job, you have pointed me in the right direction. look forward to watching your progress. Glynn
Sam very inspiring. I am building a new layout in the loft and appreciate all you do. Any tips will be taken in if you have any from past experiences. Keep it up luv it.
Hi Neil...... All looking really good.... I’ve only recently started with the scenery on my layout. Hope you don’t mind if I pinch some of your ideas and techniques. Regards.... Steve 👍
Really enjoyed your video and the scenery you have incorporated into your layout looks great. I assume white rocks are common to this location. Cheers Greg
Hi Yep you don’t need to complete a circuit aslong as the clip is near the mesh it will charge the grass The grass is attracted to the clip once it leaves the hopper
Hi Sam Having recently discovered your channel and these great videos, I have come to the conclusion you are a truly amazing modeller! The scenes of the rocky outcrops look just like the times I was on Geography field trips from school to the Castleton area in the late 1970's, just as I remember them. Does this layout go to any shows or exhibitions where it could be seen? Great work, thanks.
Morning Sam. It's pure magic how you create a landscape. 🚂🚃🚃🚃
🤣 cheers mate

Really enjoyed your video and the scenery you have incorporated into your layout looks great. I assume white rocks are common to this location. Cheers Greg
yes it’s Limestone very common in the Peak District in all shapes , sometimes it’s broken up other times in huge slabs !
I'm intrigued as to how you get the static to stand up without making an electrical circuit? I note the crock clip is not clipped.
Hi
Yep you don’t need to complete a circuit aslong as the clip is near the mesh it will charge the grass
The grass is attracted to the clip once it leaves the hopper
@@peaks4719 Thank you, much appreciated.
