This makes me nostalgic for 2012, when I first discovered Vaporwave. Good times, b4 it got memed into oblivion and was so obscure and weird that anybody would find it bizarre. The internet needs new genres.
This album is so good. I wish it was available to download.
Vaporware paves the way. One of the only genres pushing the envelope in terms of style and sound IMO.

This reminds me... I have still yet to play Illusions of Gaia and I remember seeing it at my local game store all the time. I also love Equip's I Dreamed of a Palace In the Sky and I never heard this album from Equip before so I'm glad I came across this upload. I also just noticed the 3D0 logo on there too lol.
One of my fave games of all time, highly recommended 👍
My Savior, After seriously getting into Mallsoft/Vaporwave about 2 years ago i am not obsessed with it. I had no clue it's been around since 2015 ish. This is serious GOLD!!!! Thanks for keeping it alive. Fantastic Summer classic car cruiser music.

Youd think with over a decade of existence this genre would progress in some way. Instead its the same sounds, the same aesthetics, the same themes, the same everything.
This album was composed a decade ago and was originally released on Ailanthus Recordings in early 2016. Equip is an architect of the genre, not an imitator!
I love vapor wave, but Loading New Life completely butchers Ray Obiedos Moodswing. It isn't improved in any way and it doesn't sound transformative, it sounds like a ruined version of Moodswing, not its own song using the sample as an instrument
The guy in the cover looks like michael jackson xD
