@@jkm9332 First off, I’m Atheist, but your logic fails and let me tell you why, “Racist” has built into it’s premise, that “Not Racist” exists. That’s what the OP’s statement is dealing with. If the original claim by society was everything is racist, there wouldn’t be an issue. This goes back to original Syllogisms. Socrates is a man All men are made in god’s image therefore Socrates was made in god’s image. If you believe all of those premises, which the proponents do, then the statement is logically valid & sound. (Not dealing with there is no way to prove a God, because we’re talking about valid & sound”. Socrates is a man All men are racist Therefore Socrates is racist Would be logically valid, but not sound, because the proponents Don’t believe all men are racist. Socrates is a White man All white men are racist Therefore, Socrates is racist. That would be how you would need to present it to be both valid & sound, based on it’s proponents beliefs. It’s actually analogous to compare these concepts because both God & “Unconscious Bias” are unprovable & unfalsifiable. It all comes down to “what you believe” however, Academia is attempting to force the belief in “unconscious Bias” onto everyone as fact.

When I was in my “don’t hate it till you know phase” I joined a group that aimed to help white people who wanted to be allies of antiracism to find their way. The Black women who ran the group referred to the mission as the North Star and all we did was suppose to point “North” I went through hours of training and discussion before I had to finally leave the group. In that experience I found that I was truly hated for being white. That any and all things I did harmed black and brown people. When I finally quit it was out of utter exhaustion at the self hate I was asked to produce every single day. The group was quite large and when I left I was harassed by white members for being a coward and told I had let my white fragility win. The good thing is that now I have bullet proof feelings about the anti racist movement and you cannot gaslight me and tell me it isn’t a toxic, white hating, harmful environment.
There are people who want to leech off the White race. Try to demoralize Whites until they turn over their assets to them. All you need to know is history to combat them. The Mongols, who were Asian, would just walk into European villages, kill every one, then steal their property. The Barbary Pirates, who were African, would sail to Europe, kidnap Whites, and enslave them. One estimate is that 1 million Whites were enslaved by Africans. Every race oppressed every other race. Don't let anyone try to leech off of you just because you are White.
How’s this one for you. 53 years ago my family migrated from Europe to Australia. I had relentless bullying for being an immigrant in school. Made me a tougher person and resilient. Now in my mid fifties, I’m living through reverse racism for being white. I am one of the few white people at work.
There is no need for the word reverse. It implies that racism has a normal direction that has been reversed. It's just racism, which has always flowed in every direction.
Unbelievable!!! I have no guilt for being a white girl who grew up poor in the country. My dad got 6 years of education because he had to pick cotton and farm. I love everybody as long as they are good, kind and don't harm anyone. I completely disagree with the DEI wave,, which my employer shoves down our throut. If anyone thinks I am racist, then they are not looking at who I am and what I do.
This was awesome. This was the dream episode for me lol. Matt and Allie are my two FAVORITE podcasters. I wish she had him on more often just to talk about abortion or other issues he’s passionate about. Such a great episode.
I don’t think that closely about myself. I just go about my day getting things done and enjoying my life. I don’t do social media and have few friends because I don’t do drama and surround myself with sane, normal people. Being a Bible believing Christian simplifies my life. Sin is so destructive but Gods yoke is easy as His burden is light. Could never live the anxiety ridden and stressful lives these people must lead. Life is way too short for all this. Love the Lord and follow Him.
I understand your thinking and tend to do the same. Until I remember that Jesus called us to "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” Matthew 28:19-20. We really can't follow this command unless we love our enemies and interact with them.
I agree, Matt. Racism really became an issue after Obama became president. That was one of the reasons I hated listening to him, because it seemed every speech he gave was divisive. All about black & white and how unfair society was to “people of color”. Despicable.
I'm honestly so sick of the whole racism thing... I mean, come on, people, can we move past it and just be humane to each other. Loving this comment section filled with people of all races who can actually agree that the whole situation around this topic is absolute insanity. Thank you, Allie & Matt, for doing this video. At some point, we as a human race need to realize that blaming each other and making each other feel like crap won't advance us in any way, shape or form.
You think racism is all about feelings and the minor day-to-day interactions between people. You have missed the point of what racism is, entirely. I don't expect that explaining it to you will change anything, so I digress...
I am so happy that Matt is here to show me how to be an ally. I can’t wait to watch his movie to learn more! Excited to see Matt on his journey, and we got a sneak peek of the continuation of his journey after the events of the film take place during the DNC.
Has anyone been in an abusive relationship? -- abusers assume they know your motivations (which are always negative) and count pretty much everything you do as a micro-aggression against them (AND launch MACRO aggressions in retaliation). "You didn't smile at me" / "You smiled at me" are two great examples. The only way to handle abuse is to refuse to allow the abuser to have access to you.
@@robertheintze9413What he describes isn’t theocracy. The reality is that most people in the original colonies were Christian, thus their laws reflected that.
His daughter can be dressed up as Moana. As a Polynesian from Aotearoa/New Zealand, we have the largest Polynesian community worldwide based in Auckland city, our countries largest city. You have many young girls who aren't white, dress up as white princesses here at themed based parties. I don't see anything wrong with this. However, I'm not from the States, so it could be different when it comes to the subject of racism.
People can get sideways if one dresses in clothes that isn't part of your culture, appropriation. To me it is a compliment see the beauty in other peoples style of dress and want to dress like them. There nothing more beautiful than Polynesian dress.
I worked for nearly 7 years in a non profit in south africa and the guilt trip and racism from black co workers was huge and really undermined our effectiveness. I was really disliked being blond eventhough 'my ancestors' were not even in the country when the awful things went down...working 3 times as hard for less pay was all not enough. And really like you said, black africans are also not even the indigenous people of the south of africa but migrated from central africa...killing and taking land from tribes slong the way including the Bushmen/ Koi/San. Sadly, a faith based organization and so this division even sneaked in amongst believers.
My Irish ancestors were treated as slaves when they escaped from Ireland. My Native American family was nearly decimated when the white man came to the "new land". Yet I blame no one alive today for what my ancestors went thru. Why would I? I grew up in the 70's and 80's, I lived a block away from the projects. I had friends of every nationality and thought it was great. Not once did I disrespect or treat someone who didn't look like me with anything other than friendship. But now I am considered white, and racist. I am not white, I am a multimixed blood mutt and as such how can I ever think anyone is lesser than me? I didn't see a person's color until it has been forced down my throat. And now, now I trust no one. And that is sad that at 57 years old I no longer feel like I can trust anyone younger than 40. I hate that the government is diversifying us so greatly and that those who fight on the side of the black population actually do not see the inherent racism in their actions. Racism is just a made up word for a made up differing of opinion. Just because my preference is for a swarthy greek man doesn't make me racist, just like any other person's preference for partners means they are racist. If we all liked the same stuff it would be a really boring world.
I'm 55 and growing up in now Yankee occupied NC, just as integration was approaching completion, we had very few race issues. Even though 30 years ago there was a KKK rally in my hometown. I stood on the sidewalk talking to a black police officer and chuckling at the parade. We could fly Saint Andrew's cross, and it was no big deal. All people did not assume we were racists either.
@Matt Walsh - there is no definition for racism, because there are no races...there is only one human race created by God. What we have are people groups, not races...
The different people groups that have different physical attributes also have different inner traits, and completely different genetics, of totally different early hominid genetics. Were not just homo sapien that all came out of Africa. I prefer to just stay within my own people groups.
@@olleolausson all humans have some homo sapien, but whites also have cro magnon and less Neanderthal, Asians (all of them in general) have less cro magnon and more Neanderthal, blacks have trace cro magnon and Neanderthal and otherwise genetics of "ghost dna" since anthropologists say they haven't found the full fossil yet. The other races don't even have trace amounts of that. Southeast Asians have denisovan genetics as well. A specific people group (I'm using that lovely term given by the OP) have the ability to ask the question " is this true?", and are capable of doing their own research. And can determine that "if this is true then that is true". And can put all facts on the table, not just half of them. Almost all people groups however lack this ability. They have been engineered to bow down to absolute authority, will believe what they are told, prefer the perceived safety of big left wing fascistic socialist governments, rather than individual freedom as exemplified in the American constitution, which most people groups don't place a value on. One people group can develop advanced civilizations, and has given it to the other populations around the planet twice in recorded history, while other people groups can maintain what is given by that group. And yet another people group could not get past the Stone Age. All people groups had slavery of their own or other groups, but one only people group abolished it worldwide. There is one people group that needs to maintain its identity and culture, since that group is being systematically overrun in all their countries by other people groups who don't have their traits, their values, and this is being done purposefully by those who control this planet.
well, the definition in dictionaries used to be that you thought people of other races were inferior. Simple. Now it's anything the left wants it to be.
Native Americans owned slaves. Freed Black People in America also bought and owned Black slaves. Anthony Johnson, a black man, was one of the first people to own a slave in the U.S.
😂😂😂😂. This is hilarious but so tragically accurate. You can't win. My brown husband has even called me racist just for arguing with him about something totally not related to race. It's the go-to when you run out of rational rebuttals. You can't beat the race card. It's a joker.
Or maybe the fact that you see his concerns as a "race card" is the problem? Do you have any experience as a "brown" person? If not, then how can you say or know what the receiving end of systemic racism is like? And in that case how can you know if there's any "card" being played at all? Maybe due to your lack of experience with these things, you just simply cannot understand where he's coming from. And that's ok and somewhat understandable even. Just try acknowledging that you don't really understand being a victim of systemic racism, when you're talking to him, and I am willing to bet things go a lot smoother.
The leftwing vs. rightwing paradigm has been a massive psy-op on the public. John Adams was absolutely correct: "There is nothing which I dread so much as a division of the republic into two great parties, each arranged under its leader, and concerting measures in opposition to each other. This, in my humble apprehension, is to be dreaded as the greatest political evil under our Constitution." [John Adams U.S. Founder]
Far right zionists control republicans far left Jewish communists run the democrats exploiting Americans . A state within a state. Unbelievable what your best allies will do to corrupt the next generation then frame them for it. Trump sounds like a far right zionist puppet not American patriot nor Christian republican representative. Why pretend to be someone else’s ethnicity? This is not about racism it’s about deception.

You really are damned if you do, damned if you don't. This reminded me of a time in Costco when I was standing looking at a printer. I'm a white woman & a black man walked up to look at the printer. Out of politeness, I stepped back to give him a chance to look. He said, "I don't bite" as if I stepped back out of fear. I didn't even know what to say to that.

We have obviously been through apartheid en affirmative action.Through all the crazyness I can look back 30 years later and say: "thank God that our country is growing closer together".Most South Africans also share one thing, a great sense of humour. I wish this came to our big screens. I think with the exeption of academics and politicians most of us will be able to appreciate it!
I'm half Scottish. I can trace my ancestors back to the Highlands of Scotland. Many in my ancestors' clans were wiped out at the Battle of Culloden and the English took the land during the Highland Clearances and oppressed my ancestors by making our tartans illegal to wear. Do I want to return to Scotland and ask the English for reparations and for my family's land back? Nope. Acknowledging the past, learning from it, moving forward in the pursuit of holiness and love, and giving it a go to make the future better for the next generation is what matters. Sitting stuck in what has been, and resenting the descendants of our ancestors' oppressors is a poisonous way to live.
My name is Sarah but the misspelling of names by drive thru places and clothing stores is very common. I have seen Cera, Seru, and Shar more times than I can count 😂
The birth of racism as a cash cow started with Jesse Jackson in the eighties. 1 pick a random company like coca cola and accuse them of racism 2. Start a picket line and media campaign. 3. Offer to withdraw the protest if the company hires "racism experts" (freinds and family of Jesse) for big bucks to give seminars and training 4 racism cured! This led to every corporation taking preemptive action of starting dei departments

Such a great episode, I can't wait to check out "Am I Racist"! My 5th grader asked me just last night why some people are racist. We had a good discussion about how that was not how I or their grandparents were raised, what it means and why we are not and should not be racist. My 5th grader told me that she didn't know what racism was until last year when they talked about it in school. This makes me sad because I thought the next generation would only learn about racism in their jr high history class and it wouldn't be discussed so pervasively.
As a high schooler of the early 90’s I remember well how easily everyone got along but the seeds of division were planted well before Obama took office. It seemed to coincide with Spike Lee movies. I just recall a lot of friends suddenly wearing African themed clothing and their ideas shifting a little more progressive. It’s when you could no longer say black, it had to be “African American.” I didn’t think too much of it at the time because it’s high school, but in retrospect I can see what was being sown in us young people more clearly.

I grew up in the mid 80’s to mid 90’s by the time I was 14 I became a minority white personal in a black neighborhood. I was chased, pushed, and had trash thrown at me why being called ugly and white.
Similar experience, although I did have friends of all races, in general, I was brutalized. I remember my locker for gym assignment in high school was on an aisle of all black girls. They said horrible things to me specifically about my race. I finally found an Indian and white student who had moved their lockets to someplace they weren't assigned to avoid the bullying.

So, basically racism is like beauty in that it's in the eye of the beholder. But doesn't this mean the problem is with the beholder not the one being accused?🤔
I don’t give a F about the race or color or where someone is from. If we can connect, we connect if not, go the F your way. Simple as that. I met and saw bad people of all colors, sides, beliefs and also met and saw genuine good people in fact way more good people than bad. RESPECT is the key.
I didn't hear it mentioned, but it's recently come out that DiAngelo plagiarized several people, who also happened to be POC. She gave them no credit, but collected all the money from stealing their words.
I just have to say how much I love both Allie and Matt’s dry sense of humor. This topic carries a lot of weight because it’s honestly absurd. But I haven’t cackled laughing from a RUclips video in a while. 😂😂😂😂
St.Paul refused worship after healing a cripple in Lystra. Although the people thought 'the gods had come down to them'' ( Acts 14:11 ) They wanted to call St Paul ' Hermes' and Barnabas 'Zeus' Why therefore does the Catholic church promote Prayers and worship to saints ? ( persons elevated by special acts done in the service of God )
Prayers to the saints is not idol worship. It's like asking a friend to pray for you. We know that there is power in the prayer of a righteous man and the saints in heaven are definitionally more righteous than us on earth. Revelation 5 depicts saints in heaven lifting other people's prayers to God. And in the old testament, angels are not just one way messengers but also take prayers to God. If angels can lift our prayers, why can't saints?
@@WC3isBetterThanReforged 1. All believers are righteous because of our faith in Jesus. That is biblical. Those in heaven are only righteous because of their faith in Jesus and not because of what they did. 2. The saints refers to all believers (Romans 1:7) 3. No where does Revelation 5:8 say that those prayers were prayers TO the saints. 4. Only God is omnipotent, omniscient, and omnipresent. No where in the Bible does it say those who are dead/in heaven can hear the prayers of all the people praying to them. So if we aren’t confident they can hear us, why not pray to God?? What the Bible DOES tell us is that we have ONE mediator and that is Christ Jesus. So why not go directly to Him? Asking a friend who is alive to pray for you is very humbling for both parties and as a living human, it is very comforting to know that my alive, brothers and sisters in Christ care for me that they would make requests on my behalf. That is biblical. Asking someone who is dead to give your request to Jesus, and not going directly to the king of Kings himself when he makes it very clear in his word that all we need to do is make our request known to him by going directly to him is a lack of faith.

If everything is racist, then by definition, nothing is racist
If every human being has inherent value and is made in the image of God then no human being has inherent value and is made in the image of God.
Socrates is a man
All men are made in god’s image therefore Socrates was made in god’s image.
If you believe all of those premises, which the proponents do, then the statement is logically valid & sound.
(Not dealing with there is no way to prove a God, because we’re talking about valid & sound”.
Socrates is a man
All men are racist
Therefore Socrates is racist
Would be logically valid, but not sound, because the proponents Don’t believe all men are racist.
Socrates is a White man
All white men are racist
Therefore, Socrates is racist.

Crazy! People are insane!
When I was in my “don’t hate it till you know phase” I joined a group that aimed to help white people who wanted to be allies of antiracism to find their way. The Black women who ran the group referred to the mission as the North Star and all we did was suppose to point “North”
I went through hours of training and discussion before I had to finally leave the group.
The fact that that's real is crazy
How’s this one for you. 53 years ago my family migrated from Europe to Australia. I had relentless bullying for being an immigrant in school. Made me a tougher person and resilient. Now in my mid fifties, I’m living through reverse racism for being white. I am one of the few white people at work.
There is no need for the word reverse. It implies that racism has a normal direction that has been reversed. It's just racism, which has always flowed in every direction.
It's just racism
Back then there was white and not white enough.
You sound like me. Grew up very poor, no father, mother in welfare. I get annoyed at the term, “white privileged”.

Allie, Matt…I appreciate you guys for stepping in and doing the work. 😂
I do agree with you and thank you for that.
Amen to BOTH of you!! 🎉

I agree, Matt. Racism really became an issue after Obama became president. That was one of the reasons I hated listening to him, because it seemed every speech he gave was divisive. All about black & white and how unfair society was to “people of color”. Despicable.

People groups??
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
The different people groups that have different physical attributes also have different inner traits, and completely different genetics, of totally different early hominid genetics. Were not just homo sapien that all came out of Africa.
I prefer to just stay within my own people groups.
@@rudrashakti108What are those inner traits and where have you got them from?

We had a good discussion about how that was not how I or their grandparents were raised, what it means and why we are not and should not be racist.

What causes division is not due to color of one's skin but weather a person is agreeable or just angry with the world.

Are there rules about who can dress up as Barbie this Halloween?
god forbid--no.
Love this!!!
I just have to say how much I love both Allie and Matt’s dry sense of humor. This topic carries a lot of weight because it’s honestly absurd. But I haven’t cackled laughing from a RUclips video in a while. 😂😂😂😂
This is a mind trip
i’m only a few mins in and DYING!!!!! THANK U FOR DOING THIS SJSJDKDKSK
2020 got rigged.
Still peddling that lie, because you believe everything a well documented convicted con man tells you....who is anything BUT a Christian?
A crossover I have been wanting to see!
St.Paul refused worship after healing a cripple in Lystra. Although the people thought 'the gods had come down to them'' ( Acts 14:11 ) They wanted to call St Paul ' Hermes' and Barnabas 'Zeus'
Why therefore does the Catholic church promote Prayers and worship to saints ? ( persons elevated by special acts done in the service of God )
I've wondered the same thing. Wouldn't that be creating an idol??
Did the healing even happen?
@@the0ghost069yes. The Catholic church regularly worship idols.

1. All believers are righteous because of our faith in Jesus. That is biblical. Those in heaven are only righteous because of their faith in Jesus and not because of what they did.
2. The saints refers to all believers (Romans 1:7)
