I just used medium brown from Khadi and I really like the colour. I thought it would be dark but it is not. It is light chesnut. I like it. And I stayed more than the recommended time, more precisely almost 4 hours. Per total my hair is super shiny and has volume although I did not use shampoo, only conditioner
My favorite way to color my hair❤
Just tried their Ash brown and am amazed at the results. Covered my gray and was so easy and effortless. Why would anyone use chemicals with results like this??? Thanks for an amazing product.

Do I need to apply the color prep, and immediately apply my chosen color on top? Or, do I wait a couple of days before using my shade of color?
My hair has turned white. I used yellow henna powder. But my white hair doesn't turn black. I'm allergic to other hair colors. So can you recommend a henna that I can use?
What color use by the Model ??
Are you supposed to put color prep on damp hair after shampooing?
Unbelievable neither in the instructions nor here they explain clearly how to use the Color prep!
I know!!!!! This is in incredible!
@@xicalisboa same issue. I can't believe they don't talk about it
@@sonjamuller6263 I’ve found somewhere hidden between the lines and have been using like this: apply color prep as the henna, leave 60min, wash out with water and apply the color of choice. Lots of work and time! But works…
What are the allergy-free hair colors?
Any recommendations on what shampoo to used in between colourings, to protect the colour and make it last longer?
Hi there,
Any of Khadi's shampoos pair beautifully with our plant-based hair color!

Hello I just used Dark Blonde on my hair that was dyed and highlights (bleached) in the salon many times. At the time of the coloring I also had gray roots. I do not like how my color came out, it's very close to black! and not at all dark blonde! I really really want to change this. Plus it did not cover my grays. I would love to give Khadi another try. But I definitely want a different color - more of a brown/slightly reddish color. Can I use another Khadi color over my hair? Can I use Natural Haze? How long do I need to wait before I do that? Is there anything I can do to get the Khadi Color Dark Blonde out of my hair? Thank you, I would really appreciate a detailed response as at the moment I am very disappointed and unhappy :(
I currently dye my hair blonde and get highlights - I would love to keep the blonde hair - but using this product - can I purchase the blonde color or do I need to go darker?
It is very surprising that you are a KHADI representative and you use metal/stainless steel utensils for measuring and mixing where For the past 12 years I have been coloring my hair with KHADI henna and was told by literally everyone to use a wooden spatula. shame
Same process to cover the grey hair...plz respond..
hi
why it is not recommended to use the conditioner after first dye?
Hi @Yann-be7lx,
Thank you for your question.
After coloring, rinse the hair with water or our Color Finish, which is formulated to gently remove all excess, non-coloring powder residue. Most shampoos and conditioners remove the coloring agents from the hair and stop the color development process.

Can it color black hair brown
No - you need to bleach
Hi, I was just wondering if the khadi hair color has only henna and indigo as the ingredients?
Hello!!! you have done a wonderful job on the video!!!
I would like to ask a question please, I am a professional and I have a hairdresser shop in Greece, Can you tell me please where can I get your products and do some training?
Do you have a dealer in Greece or in Europe where I could get your products at a wholesale price?
Thank you in advance
Antonia
hello, sorry to write here but the comments are disabled under the video concerned. I have been using Khadi for so many years! I wanted to know for Color Care oil does it protect any type of coloring (I do semi-permanent colors) or does it only work with vegetable dyes? thank you !
Can i color again next day ?
Hello Kaisi,
Thank you for contacting khadi Natural Cosmetics.
After rinsing out your hair color we recommend letting the color develop for 24-48 hours as our natural hair color requires an allotted time to develop fully. If you would like to intensify the pigment of your color you can then recolor your hair one week after your initial hair coloring session. Please feel free to read this short article that explains how you can intensify your color results with khadi by coloring all over more than once. The link has been provided below.

Is it necessary to use color prep every time.
Hello Sudha! Thank you for your question. It's very individual and depends on your initial hair and your desired result! You can message us at khadibeauty.com/pages/contact-us and our support will help you find your perfect individual color :) To answer your question, here is an example that might work for you: Let's say you have dark hair with gray strands and you want to dye your entire head the color ash brown - for the first time. You take the color quiz on khadibeauty.com and the quiz recommends applying Color Prep first. So you apply Color Prep first, wait the recommended time, and rinse it out. Then you can apply your desired shade (ash brown) directly to your towel-damp hair. After the recommended wait time, rinse it out and towel dry your hair completely. And you're done! :) Whenever you want to color your roots, you only need to apply Color Prep & Ash Brown to your roots. (Because you only need to color your roots). We hope this example helps you! (PS: You can find out if Color Prep is recommended for you with our Khadi color chart or the quiz on khadibeauty.com).
@@khadiusa5518 should we use both color prep and color in one single day ? Or can have a gap of 24 hours
Should I use the color prep before actually dyeing my hair?!
Hi Avery! When Color Prep is recommended, you apply it before coloring, exactly. You can find out if color prep is recommended in the khadi color chart or quiz on khadibeauty.com :)
@@khadiusa5518 Do I need to apply the color prep, and immediately apply my chosen color on top? Or, do I wait a couple of days before using my shade of color?
I forgot to wash my hair before applying khadi hair dye. Will it still work?
It will, but it is better to wash it because in this way the hair stays wet and easy to absorb the Henna..
Problem is this henna does not cover the gray roots even after applying colour prep. i have tried several techniques and followed instructions carefully used different colours tried to mix and what not but gray hair does not get covered the way chemical dyes work! Now thats a real disappointment. Also this henna is certainly not cheap! Too expensive for the results you get!

Can you use a heat protectant after rinsing out khadi?
Hi Robyn! We recommend not putting any product in your hair for the first few days (until you wash your hair for the first time after coloring) so that the color can fully develop. After that you can use any product you want. :)
How does one not burn their scalp with such a hight temperature?? 60-80°C is VERY high
Hello there,
The recommended water temperature refers to the temperature the water needs to be when mixing into the powder. Let the color mixture cool down before applying. We recommend placing your color bowl in a hot water bath to ensure the color mixture doesn't get cold during the application process, which can affect overall color results. Placing the color bowl in a hot water bath will keep the color mixture warm, which is what's needed.

Got it !! Thank you so much !! It worked so well. I love my color !!

You really need 3 days to color your hair?!? 😢
Your dark blonde gave me the most hideous ginger hue over my natural dark blonde hair! It brought out everything I didn't want to see in my hair. It is entirely WARM light brown with orange- yellow tone to it. Its not even red... It's yellow ginger. The colour is nothing what was described as ashy tone. I couldn't hate it more if I tried. I has ruined my natural butt - length hair that I wanted to make more ashy at the ends.... And yeah... I stuck to the instructions to a T. Cleansed my hair thoroughly before, temperature 60 degrees as in provided instruction. The result is like a cheap warm box die. I HATE IT!
Well... if you have long hair why bother doing something DIY? It's like buying an expensive car and then take it to the plumber to fix it...
@laurelledubois
Some people aren't so stupid that they can manage to color their own hair, in which case it would come down to the coloring itself and not the person doing the coloring.
