It was good to see his angle on Russ. I mean, with all the talk towards the end of his tenure as a Seahawk, I am glad to see him struggling for a few reasons.
      1. To quiet the noise that this team was all Russ and that they are nothing with out him.
      2. Denver doing poorly increase our draft stock.
      3. He had so many great moments and some extremely maddening weaknesses that just seemed to get exacerbated the more he tried to be a pocket QB. I likes what I saw in Geno last year and I'm glad to see him get his opportunity.
      4. Russ can take off and become MVP next year, just not this year. 😅 He doesn't deserve a lot of the hate being thrown his way, but as a Hawks fan....it was time to move on. You don't wish bad on someone but when they do poorly on their own it does bring a sense of validation. Besides, you know Russ ain't gonna play this poorly all season.

One year while Shawn was on the Hawks there was terrible shooting at a high school. After the kids went back to school Marshawn & another player and a public relations guy hopped in a team van and made the 45 minute drive north to Marysville to go speak and hangout with the kids. Before they got to the school they hopped off the freeway to get some sodas. While getting sodas Shawn finds a man wallet, he opened it up and saw a white man whose last name was Lynch, he said there was around $400 dollars in it. He thought about turning it into the store but he decided against it & searched the mans address and they saw it was only a couple of miles away. So they get to the mans house and nobody came to the door. Shawn goes to the neighbors house who kinda got star struck when they saw Beast Mode at their house! They started asking for autographs and Shawn was like no I'm not here for autographs I'm here to make sure my family, your neighbor gets his wallet back with all this money in it! So Shawn sent the guy & his neighbors some signed items & the news got ahold of the story and it turns out that the man who lost the wallet saw Beast Mode at the gas station he to got star struck and he debated with himself about asking for an autograph, during his debate time he dropped his wallet and of course did not realize it! ✌️🙌✌️

You should honestly go back and watch the games. They were amazing. The first one, the Seahawks absolutely destroyed the “best offense the nfl had ever seen.” At the time, Peyton manning had thrown I think 55 touchdowns in regular season, shattering the record. And somehow, the Seahawks fans dominated the fanbase at the superbowl, so it was like a home game for them.
The second game was a back and forth battle of the two best coaches in the nfl, and no one else was even close. It was an INCREDIBLE game, back and forth the whole time.

Man that game would’ve been wild to experience as a fan being that young. Had to be one of the most heartbreaking losses ever for a fanbase. I will never understand why they chose to throw instead of running the ball. Obviously I’m just a fan on the couch so my opinion of the decision means nothing.
But I’ve just never really been able to understand what the coaches were thinking at that moment. Marshawn was rumbling that entire game. The play prior he got four yards. It’s only second down. You easily can run the ball even a couple times to try and get that touchdown. You even have a timeout left to regroup if you hand off the ball and he doesn’t get in. So running the clock down on second down and then throwing the ball there will never make any sense to me. It’s wild to think that people who didn’t actually watch during this time period and just have the record books to look back on will never know just how close the Seahawks were to being a dynasty. The year before their superbowl they lose the divisional on a last second field goal. If they win that game they play SF to go to the superbowl. They had recently demolished that SF team in the regular season. Easily could’ve won that game and who knows if they’d been in the Super Bowl. Then you think of this one and how close they were to winning it. Insane to think how close this team was to winning two super bowls and even how close they could’ve made a deeper run the year before they ever won it. But in the end they won one ring and imploded following it. Definitely a team that could’ve won multiple championships and unless you were watching during that time you don’t know that if you only see the results.
