  • I thought this song fits Ahsoka well, as it shows that she's someone who continues the fight no matter what and will never stop fighting as long as someone needs her help. She's survived through countless battles and has never lost her fighting spirit. Hopefully it's a bit more uplifting than my last video of her. ;) The song Never Ever Give Up is by Matthew West.

This is something I really needed to see today, because since I've been struggling a lot with my jaw pain lately, I needed some form of encouragement today.
And this did exactly that, by reminding me of one of the main reasons why I love (and connect to) Ahsoka so much: The fact that we share the quality of perseverance. We've both been through a lot of different hardships in our lives, (some more painful than others) but we've always managed to pull through and find ourselves becoming stronger once we've reached the other side.
I know that if she was able able to get through not being believed in by the Jedi, her master becoming evil, (plus being forced to fight him) and questioning what her own identity even was, then surely I too can get through whatever struggle may come my way.. so long as I also keep persisting.
Thank you for reminding me of that. ❤

I'm glad this was an encouragement to you! I wouldn't have expected my videos to be so impactful to someone, but I'm glad this was able to help! Better days will come!

@@StarFuryEdits Well, you did say in the description you were hoping this video would be uplifting, and it was!
I thank you very much for this video, and your kind words of affirmation. I firmly believe that greener pastures are right around the corner for me.
I know God is healing me and that soon I will be restored, but right now I just have to keep on working through the pain.
Also, I meant to say this before, but it didn't really fit with my top comment: I think this song would also fit Zuko very well.
P.S. Did you see I announced our collaboration on my channel yesterday?

@@TheAnimationConnoisseur I believe God can use little things like this to brighten our days, so I'm glad this was able to reach you. I actually came up with this when I was going through a hard season, so maybe that goes to show it was a help to me as well.
I saw your post, and am planning on responding. Just trying to decide what exactly to say. I think I will announce it on my channel on Tuesday.

@@StarFuryEdits Oh really? Wow. Maybe the fact that you had to go through all that wasn't such a bad thing then. Because this video came from a sincere place within you, it can have that same effect on people like me who are going through similar things you were!
BTW, this is random, but I have another Avatar-related discussion for you (if you don't mind.) First, let me ask you something: Do you think that Yakone was related to Hama? I have a theory that Yakone was actually either Hama's son or grandson. Think about it: Hama and Katara were the only people who knew how to Bloodbend, so how could Yakone have possibly learned that skill and passed it down to his children?
Since I seriously doubt Katara would want to teach that skill to anyone else, Hama would have been the only option for him.
My guess is that she somehow escaped captivity (which wouldn't be that hard to believe given she's a Bloodbender) and found a kindred spirit with another man whom she married and had Yakone with. (Either that or her kids had kids, and _that's_ how Yakone was born.) If that's true, then that would make Noatak and Tarrlok her grandkids/great-grandkids.
Though I suppose Yakone could have just been another student of hers she took on after escaping captivity, but I personally like to believe the former theory is true, since it greatly enhances the characters of Amon and Tarrlok. All four of those people had the same skills, but Tarrlok and Amon used their powers in completely different ways than Hama and Yakone.
Whereas the former two used their powers to conquer others and harm those they believed had wronged them, Tarrlok and Noatak used their powers to bring 'order' instead.
One did it by rooting out crime and those who opposed him, and the other did it by making everyone equal through chakra-blocking. The dichotomy of that whole situation is something I just find so facinating.

@@TheAnimationConnoisseur I hadn't really thought about that, but it is an interesting (and logical) theory. I know some people complain about the bloodbending in Korra, but I feel like that would make people accept it more.
