Two choices on the ballot paper in 2016 were Remain or Leave. There were no models offered. The vote came back with a majority to Leave. They weren’t interested in deal or no deal. They just wanted to Leave. Femi is just trying to make an argument based on what has happened after the referendum result and during negotiations. It’s a weak argument.

The EU has enjoyed peace since its formation. The Balkans were outside of the EU, Croatia was allowed to join in 2013.

The war in Bosnia had nothing to do with the EU. The main cause was ethnic tensions as a result of decades of Cold War.
Well, it had something to do with the EU in that there was actually a coordinated effort back then to take in war refugees and to calm down the situation. Which is why the Balkans don't look like the middle east today and the refugees were never forced to march around half of the globe to find something resembling safety.
But yes, it wasn't caused by the EU and is certainly not a point against 70 years of peace in middle Europe.
But to claim the EU has prevented war within Europe is hogwash. It stood on the sidelines, inactive while the flames raged for 3 years in the region.
Who in their right mind would think the UK, France, Germany etc would take up arms against each other in this day & age. If anything, the EU is fanning the flames of right wing nationalism (which is dangerous) in its attempts to constantly introduce cheap labour into the market & grind out national identity.
As Wolfgang Schaeuble said to the Greeks “elections change nothing, there are rules.”

I love watching these videos in 2021 where deliveries take longer, the pound hasn't recovered. Abattoirs and picker farms are understaffed leading to wastage of food. NI has gone up thanks to expenditure for covid which the EU provided it's members support when lockdowns were imposed. Temporary visas for foreigners because loads of us English can't be bothered to work and would rather stay on benefits. More illegal immigration than ever before because we can't cooperate with our neighbours. The list goes on.

We Europeans always thought that Austrians, Germans, French and English people were picture of good gentlemanly behaviour. This I am afraid has no class or anything in that matter. Femi was destroyed by Katie Hopkins so much so his (white) handler pulled him out of the interview as he crashed and burned. Femi claims to be British but has a US accent, Femi claims to have be born in Darlington after which he appears to have lived everywhere Middlesborough, Yarm, Worcester, Nottingham, Val D'Isere, Vienna, Brussels, Francophone (Belgium), Brest(France). Claims his dad was a docter so they "moved around a lot", odd because doctors as profession are usually very settled! His linked in talks about a whole series of jobs since graduating in 2013, all lasting just a few months rather than years, until he co-founded the the OFOC funded by Pro-EU quangos Best for Britain, Open Britain, and The European Movement. Odd as Law Graduates usually like to get in a practice and some professional experience, where Femi appears to hop around a multitude of odd jobs. Something very fishy about Femi, a bit of a "Scarlet Pimpernel" about him. I would speculate he's really a Nigerian immigrant who grew up in Lagos, his father was a Nigerian doctor and his mother originated from Benin, he attended either the US International School or the Lycee Francais Loius Pastuer school in Lagos and he came to the UK on a student VISA. I doubt very much he was born in Darlington.

I've just put done a birth search in Ancestry using his name, birth year and place of birth. Nothing comes up, so you're probably right about him. It looks like he wasn't born in the UK.
