It gave me a mix of exo & shinee but it still fits victon very well, really showcases their amazing vocals, hanses rap is always incredible he deserves so much more recognition as an idol rapper and its just super catchy in general. I really hope we'll get more comebacks from them this year 😭 I need another masterpiece album like voice: the future is now, even if its just a mini album
Omg, I definitely got SHINee's vibe, specially from Atlantis. But yes! VICTON pulled this off very well! Also, yes, Hanse deserves more recognition for sure!!

5:53 I would say that 'Chronograph' utilizes most heavily the electro-funk genre, which I am such a sucker for not going to lie LOL. And I love how the genre can be done in so many different kinds of ways

i really like how they changed to their more upbeat style again, even though i'm more of a fan of their darker stuff. i'm also so happy they're back, it's been way too long lol. like others have said, i can hear the similarity to EXO and NCT's stuff and i really like it~ the mv is quite different to the feel of the song so it's not overwhelmingly pop-y, which isn't a bad thing, but it's fun!
I knew I wasn’t crazy for thinking this song sounded fairly similar to Spin Off by Up10tion and it’s funny because both groups are literally best friends

I got a smidge of NCT 127’s Superhuman just RIIIGHT when the chorus first hits, and then some general SHINee vibes for the rest, though now seeing everyone say EXO I think it’s just SM striking once again lmao
I think in general it’s different than anything they’ve done stylistically in the past, so in that way it makes sense for a single album, just for them to try it out. really curious to see where they’ll go in the future after this one ☺️

@@Lovelybiscuits3 yeah!! it's in a different key, but those first 3 notes when they sing "Love Chrono-" are the same intervals as the first 3 notes of the Superhuman chorus lol then it's different once they sing the "graph~"

Personally I wish they'd given a small rap section to Subin since he is a rapper has well, but he's gotten a lot of lines in comparison to most of their title tracks before, so I'm really happy! :D
Yep Subin now has longer lines. Listen to "Want Me" also their new song. He really improve and practiced a lot and able to get more lines.🥰 And he looks so fine this comeback😍

I agree about having a second rap verse. Hanse can do both, but when Seungwoo returns, he can take the second verse. Time passes quicker than we think and they will have to make OT7 arrangements for these songs.
If my life flashed before my eyes, it would include Hanse's verse and MV moments for sure XD I absolutely adore this comeback, and I totally agree that an additional rap verse would have been the cherry on top too!
This comeback reminded me of something Monsta X would do. It remind me of Rush Hour in a sense and I don't know why

i thought i was being biased thinking this song needed a second rap verse, anyway i feel like hanse’s verse had a similar vibe (instrumentals but also his tone) to take over and i’m loving it
i don’t know if you remembered in this video, but this is their first comeback (i believe) after the merge with cre.ker into ist! idk if that impacted the sound or music video at all but i loved this comeback for them a lot.
Maybe it impacted bcs their ideas for victon improve and impressive, I mean they knew what Victon can able to offer more styles. Plus their the director of the song somehow also the director of SM ent.
PD I think you would love their b-side track in this album! It's called 'Want me(시간의 문)' and I personally think VICTON really brought the song into justice with their vocals. It's something that they haven't tried before too, especially for their b-side, so it's a really good kick to their discography. Also, Chronograph English version kinda hits different too! 😆 thank you for always reacting and supporting them, PD!

PD, you should really check out MIRAE's new comeback, about a week ago - they debuted last year with KILLA, which I honestly thought was one of the best songs of last year - it's the most Superhuman-adjacent song we've gotten since forever. Their first comeback, Splash did disappoint because it was more basic K-pop, but their newest and second comeback have them back on track - with one of the catchiest chorus I've ever heard! The song is basically if Ra Pam Pam was mixed with Beautiful Beautiful, which sounds weird, but I trust you'll get it if you react to it!
I think they're from the same company as Kara is.

I’m late to the party, but I would def say the song genre is funk. Walking bass, the way the guitar strums, just Funk all the way down. I love this song, and also peeped the similarities to NCT 127’s Superhuman!

Yes, I'm guessing it.. funky pop kind of genre. Victon did it again this time and this is not bad for a single album. I literally overwhelmed by the concept of time they bringing in this time, like I always wonder what concept will they try since what I said era, and they slayed it this time too! I have to agree about their stunning outfits, mv set and stuff. Let me say something, the leader vocals reminds me a lot of Baekhyun voice stable and strong on the same time. I like the song, like the MV little abstract and they look beautiful of course, there is something about Chan I like him most I think :)
