KQED, you guys are awesome. Thank you for keeping treasures like Martin Yan and Jacques Pépin in the esteem they deserve to be held in. Thanks to you guys I have gotten to share the masters I grew up watching with my son and pass along their work to the next generation. Thank you.
I was born in Alameda in 1986 and lived in Oakland until about 1997, I remember watching Yan Can Cook all the time on channel 9. Absolutely loved his mix of cuisine culture and theatrics for such an entertaining show, glad to see you guys putting him on RUclips for everyone to enjoy.
KQED will be uploading classic episodes of Yan Can Cook from our archives every Monday. Subscribe for notifications!
