Lol am I the only one that thought Laura was saying phone melter until I realized she was saying FOAM melter ? 😂😂😂
I was wondering what a phone melter was and why you would want one.
hahaha I was thinking the exact same thing. Almost googled it hahahahah
I didn’t realize until I read this comment. 😅
Yep, I thought she said phone melter also
Guilty 🖐
Please do not apologize for being private for yourself, your home and your family.. Set your boundaries and stick to them. Do not let people invade areas you wish to keep for yourselves. You will be respected for doing so. I also appreciate your straightforward knowledge about gardening. Hopefully you can convince viewers to relax and simply enjoy what they are doing, without micromanaging everything..
As much as I would love to see your home with all those beautiful antiques, you have a right to your privacy. You share a great deal of your life and family already. I look forward to your videos 6 days a week. You have taught and inspired me so much.
Agreed!!! 👍🏻
Agree, some things should be kept private
Totally agree, Audrey
I know you guys always say this is your job and the effort you put in sure shows. But i always think how blessed i am by how much of you whole life you share and all the good garden stuff you give us. I for one can't thank you enough for all you give us. You and your family are a delight and your gifts back to your community are so uplifting. I have seen results in my own yard thanks to you guys. Oh for more shared business of any kind with a heart like yours. Thank you.
Ditto. I have a much enhanced appreciation for the world about me now that I see it through a gardener’s eye…. Because of GA!
Definitely. Laura's & Aaron's goodness of heart, soul, & interactions with others enhances my day & prompts me to try for more of this in my own life & has been beneficial to me.
Yes love how the family works together, enjoys one another, cares for each other, gives back to their community. Lovely family.
I also see a beautiful improvement in my small garden from the great information you share with us! 💕
@@sherribrown6031 Isn't it great!
The Aaron and Laura show is THE BEST daytime talk show ever. Don’t change!
I always enjoy the Sunday Recaps. Love the chit chat conversations between you and Aaron. I feel Like I'm sitting with you, just being part of the conversation. Thank you so much for that. xo
Me too!
It's dope!
Exactly! 💜
Same here!
Definitely a ☕️ 🥐 and comfy recliner kind of viewing!
Laura, keeping whatever level of separation keeps you sane between your home life and the life you share with us works for me and I hope most of your viewers. 😙
Absolutely!! 👍🏻
oh, Laura and Aaron, I cannot get in the first place why you would EVER have to explain anything that you decide to do or not do.. You give sooooooooooo much, you inspire us, you share so much of your expertise and passion and life!! I do love and appreciate that and asbolutely believe that everyone should have freedom as to what and how they share!!! I know for myself every minute with you is such a special treat!!! I am grateful and I am uplifted:) you are a joy and a blessing to many, including me. And I am glad you guys are also laerning how to be assertive and set your boundries. We all like to be able to do that, so why shouldn't you? I just don't get it... anyway, just know that you deserve only what's good and motivating! once again - THANK YOU for being out there and doing what you do so perfectly!!!
I wanted to give this reply 100 thumbs up. I totally agree with you and hope Laura and Aaron continue to live the life they want not what some random strangers want.
@@sallywoods7131 exactly! thank you:)
Very well said, I agree totally.
I'm Virginia and I'm 66, I loved my gardening and could just do it all until about 4 years ago.
All of a sudden I couldn't.
And got worse too. I started late 30s , so I had 30 years later. I still do some , actually you got me doing a little more. So a bit sad but very thankful for what I can do.
Virginia, I’m almost 65. I need total knee replacement (March). I am a Master Gardener and have a helper. She is learning from me and I get the help I need. I hope you can find someone near you that can help you continue to enjoy your gardens.
Charles, I know exactly where you're coming from. I'm 67 and refuse to stop doing something I love but I'm down to 1 hour sessions in the garden except for using the ride on mower, I can do that all day. Lol
@@kathytaylor9798 and Virginia, I am 53 and last year had 2 total knee replacements after a serious accident. I was out planting new flowers by mild of spring before the first knee replacement and was back at it in August, I had 8 weeks of therapy on the right knee after June 11th, then in the fall I was planting bulbs the old fashion way, and used a kneel and sit combo cushioned apparatus recommended by my neurosurgeon, then in November, I had the 2nd knee done. In the early spring, I was out putting together a raised bed, and then from watching Laura and Aaron, I learned allot about putting them together and how to utilize the beds through the winter this year.
I am thankful that I am now able to enjoy 2 passions in my life other than my family, I am horseback riding again and I still get to work in my 4 flower beds. This past Spring I took out a 4 year old oak tree that died and replaced it with a weeping Cheery tree and placed Snow in the summer and Midnight Salvia with yellow rudbeckias out in the area around it. Now I have to figure out a location in the yard to place a lilac bush that is fairly small in size in memroy of my father-in-law who passed away this past Sasturday evening,
As I was dealing with my own grief I thought about how I could cherish dad''s memory. Then I seen an old video where Laura was sharing some of her favorite shurbs. I was so thankful I seen the video; even though I have seen it many times over the past few years. Thank you, Laura and Aaron for sharing your lives of gardening and your family live along with everything that goes on in your life, such as the antique trips and the issue with your mother recently, even the birth of your children. All of this is just amazing and seeing you presevere through and being so open with all of us out here (some who are total strangers) even amazes me more. You brighten many lives with your knowledge and experience with not just planting flowers or shrubs and even trees, but with recipes on how to combine different textures of foliage together and flowers colors in the spectrums that are bright and welcoming. I am just so thankful with the knowledge you have extended to us in your videos and because of this, I am able to do something extra special this spring for dad.
I'm 68 and feeling the aches and pains but I manage aging with lots of magnesium, potassium and salt and I walk and do yoga. It's the only way to stay limber and work the kinks out after squatting and stooping. But I confess I can only do about 1/2 hour at a time before taking a break :) I've mostly been focused on vegetables and pruning old shrubs so it's nice now to have time to think about flowers and am inspired by Laura's expansive ideas :)
This has been an amazing whirlwind year! For everyone, fresh outta lockdown. Yet you pushed every Project. The South Shed was buttoned up! The West side was planted. You decked out the South Garden with everything from A to Z. The north garden has been an eye sore at times but youve soldiered on. The Hartley looks spectacular, the boxwoods are finally planted with gorgeous tulips and daffodils. Everything worth it in life takes time. Thank you for everything youve achieved. My garden is currently developing to it's fullest glory it has ever been because of your content. Keep doing what you doing and reap the rewards shamelessly.
LOL, I was never in lockdown, sweetie.
@@AgendaInMind I also did not Lockdown! I did protect myself and my family. Common sense stuff, we took our vitamins, stayed way from crowds and drank plenty of water. My garden business did not skip a beat. God, my family and Laura and Aaron helped to keep me encouraged!
@@elenaperryman9660 Yeah, I stopped believing in magical flying Boogey germs 15 years ago. If you can’t “catch” cancer, you can’t catch anything else.
@@AgendaInMind 🤣🤣🤣 Ignorance truly is bliss!
Good morning, Laura & Aaron ☕️ So funny Power Planter is sponsoring this video because last year I bought one of their packages and separately a 5” auger too however, my sister loved it so I called Friday to order another for a Christmas 🎄 gift, spoke with John and he gave me 10% off for being a repeat customer! Super nice guy and, I actually told him I ordered previous because of Laura from Garden Answer! I can’t imagine gardening without it! Have a Blessed Day 😊🐈
How in the WORLD could anyone have anything negative to say about y’all?!? You are wonderful, kind and thoughtful people! That is obvious from what we see on our devices every time! For those that are negative I say go start your own channels and see how much work it takes and see how well you take negative comments! And as I say this I realize the irony when I say everyone should show kindness. Laura and Aaron are sharing their lives! And I for one am very grateful for them! Keep up the great work!!! ❤😎✌🏻
Negative ppl are usually jealous ppl...I say ignore them an their negative comments an keep doing what u love ...we love you an your whole family an love watching every video
I thought the same thing!! How could people be negative about “Garden Nancy” 🤣
@@rachelivison7479 🤣😆🤣😆
Someone may have already suggested this, but have the lights on the Hartley on a separate power source, that allows you to turn them off after a couple hours… exposing just the chandelier and tree inside for the remaining few hours. You will be able to see both scenarios from the house each evening. 🙂
Excited for the Christmas cooking with Susan and Monica and tour of Andrews !
Oooh i think that would be a treat...though I'd much rather be there in the mid to late spring when they are full stocked. I still wouldn't mind being able to visit this Open house
Yes I’m also really looking forward to this one! It’s just my sister & I after we lost our mum 23 years ago but Laura, Susan & Monica always makes me smile when I see them all together making precious memories xx
When you and your mom and Monica were on a recent antiquing trip Monica kept looking at things related to Kitchen work and I thought wouldn't it be wonderful to actually be there with her and see what she's doing in her kitchen. I bet it's spectacular. I used to say someday I'll have a dream house built and it won't even have a kitchen in it, I will send out for everything. Now however I see that as a nursing home so I'm learning to pop things in the microwave😜😂 Everytime you do a kitchen project I'm impressed but I just have a hunch marvelous Monica just might kick it up a notch or two. It was fun getting to go into her house when you pick her up for the antiquing trip. Thank you Monica! I noticed a wall hanging behind one of your trees that was just one positive thought after another. I wouldn't mind having one of those I wonder where you purchased it. Blessings to the entire family.
Laura, I agree that allowing the Hartley to glow from within would be even more lovely with all the lights on everything around it! 🤩🍁🌲🪴
Me too… but I have a feeling we could be shattering Aaron’s dreams 🙊
Agree 100! But could Aaron let them go? He just glows when talking about the lights!
Would rope lights on the Hartley be more pleasant for Laura? A much softer glow.
Maybe next year --and then they can see which way is best
@@hayleyfletcher2773 He'll survive...there are thousands of other lights all over the property 😉
Oh Laura, don't sweat the bulbs in bloom video. No pressure from the peanut gallery...we're here to watch what you're feelin', truly. Love and appreciate what you and Aaron do and teach us!
If you can't find your foam melter, use an electric carving knife like you would use to carve a turkey. It works GREAT!
I definitely think Aaron is excited about the Christmas light display. He can’t hide his excitement. Thank you so much for these entertaining chat sessions to kick off my Sunday morning.
Anyone else have a cat who hears Laura’s voice and comes running? Mine joins me for a cuddle and the day’s video or recap❣️
You share so much of your personal life already with us. My daughter, 22, couldn’t believe you let the public know where you live and how much you share. She said most RUclipsrs/Instagramers don’t disclose those details and even was concerned with safety. Thanks for letting us in your gardening world, keep private what is good for you. 😊
You may be right, it’s just hard to think anything that bad could happen in this neck of the woods, it’s very rural. Not that it couldn’t, it’s just not much part of the culture here.
@@cynthiafisher9907 And the there's the college kids in Idaho where everyone believed they were just a small tranquil community - what could go wrong?
Totally agree. Maybe I watch too much news but I especially worry about the children's safety. Weird and awful things happen in rural areas too.
@@curiouscat3384 That’s true, bad things happen everywhere, it’s just not like Laura to live in fear. Also, people can find out where you live, if they want to bad enough, through public records. Nefarious people are going to do what they’re going to do.
Aaron and Laura, you two are rocking this site with the chemistry you have! There is nothing better I'd like to do than sit with my first cup of coffee watching Garden Answer! The way that you interact with each other discussing topics about gardening is a joy to behold! Thank you both for such great topics, sharing questions from followers and just the way you flow with each other is a delight! Many blessings to you and your family this holiday season! Hugs from Louisiana!
I can’t comprehend what kind of miserable person would be “reliably negative” in their comments!! Can you just imagine what an awful attitude toward life they must have. I got really angry on your behalf. I’m a 40 year gardener, and I still learn so much from you, and get a jolt of joy when I see that a new video has posted. Thank you!
Life's too short for negativity! Reading the comments upsets me so much that I don't do it often! It's better just to focus on Laura and be uplifted!
Jolt of joy is a perfect phrase for every video from Laura!
Re Bio-tone for houseplants…..I use it all time. It has made a huge difference in the health and growth of my houseplants. I pour it into a large grated cheese container with a flip top and just pour some in the soil. There’s not a lot of the dust in the air and there is no fertilizer odor in the house. You could always use a small bucket and a scoop as well. Happy roots; happy plant. I transfer it from the bag into the container outside so when I pour it out of the bag the dust is not indoors. 😊💖🦋🕊
Great idea!!
Aaron, I'm one of those typically negative people who can knitpick anything but watching Laura's easy confidence and positivity makes me remember this garden is yours and the journey is why I'm watching. If I wanted mature perfection I'd find a video of an old English estate garden.
Laura, I am the same way with not wanting the regimen to cramp my style!! You bring us on mini side-tours while doing your projects that we usually get to see the progress of your other projects. I really like the variety of this channel, so please continue doing what inspires you!!
Happy Thanksgiving to Laura, Aaron, the family and Garden Answer fans!
You too!!!
Good morning Laura and Aaron
Never drive in fog unless your familys' lives are at risk. You have your priorities right💞
Love the “Garden Nancy!”
Love the recap - but every day is a Garden Answer day. 👍😍 My favorite recap quote: “Garden Nancy” 😂🤩❤️👍
It is always amazing to me when people comment and try to tell you what to do when you are creating perfect content. And most of them have no idea what it takes to create a video. Can’t wait to get the tour of the garden center, it always puts me in a holiday mood.
When it comes to your videos, please keep doing what makes you happy. It's your joy in gardening and sharing your results that is so compelling and enjoyable for us viewers. We want you to enjoy what you do so you continue to do it for a long time t!o come. Thanks for being you.
So much to unpack here! I would be super excited with some sort of time lapse video of the beautiful bulbs ( probably very time consuming). I started laughing when you guys asked for architects suggestions for your home renovations- be careful what you ask for!😆 Also can't wait for all the wonderful Christmas related videos to start, my favorite time of the year. Thank you for all the motivational videos. Happy Thanksgiving!🦃
Thanks for also sharing about your garden fails, I’ve had so many of my own and I don’t feel so bad now. As you have said, we learn from our mistakes. Love your gardens
As always, really enjoyed the Sunday recap!!! Such a productive week! I really understand the idea that putting too many expectations and restrictions on creativity can kill the fun and add anxiety. It’s why I have abstained at selling art and craft projects or doing too many projects on commission. The added pressure and responsibility changes it from being a joy to being a chore. 💚💚💚
very well said- my sentiments exactly
So true!!!
Great video and I agree with Laura, take the lights off the Hartley and decorate with green swags on the outside with a Christmas tree on the inside and maybe a few lighted candles on the inside. I am sure she will make it beautiful either way.....Happy Thanksgiving!!!
Ooooo, that would be pretty!
Please don't stress over filming the Spring bulbs. Just shoot for peak early, mid, and late Spring blooms. That will emphasize the natural bulb blooming times and it's a great opportunity to talk about the natural flow of garden blooms in general for perennials, shrubs, and trees.
Interesting thoughts on burning out from doing videos. I watch 2 creators that have burnt out because of the high quality of videos they produce. They have both started side channels where they give themselves a bit of leeway, much like this channel for you. You have learned what to do to and where your limits are to keep going. Thank you for sharing your life with us.
You know, showing your failures (if you have any) is okay too because it helps others to avoid mistakes that would discourage them. You, Laura, never seem discouraged! 😊
you both always make me smile on Sunday morning.. thanks. why do some always see the negative in things. if you can't say something nice don't say anything at all. have a great week.
I noticed Aaron's 'morning beverage' last week and immediately began smiling. A good friend of ours is a Dr. and he starts each morning with a Pepsi and a PopTart. :) So looking forward to the video of ya'll baking for the open house! Thank you Garden Answer Team for 2 amazing channels.
Just got a lecture from my doc about fat and sugar. As I was leaving the hospital I saw him in the cafeteria with cheese fries and a Coke. He knows what we'll talk about next time...😆
Fun recap today. Love having Aaron involved with these.
Really enjoy your videos, especially nice when we see the banter between you and Aaron . Love your entire family dynamic. So fun. Enjoy wishing for a super successful open house and season at Andrews.
Power planter is a game changer. I ordered one a month ago with the heavy duty tip to get through the soil better. I have called them and they were very helpful on the phone. Great company to partner with and solid products. Happy Sunday everyone!!
My week consists of watching and re-watching your videos. I love this channel!!!! You both are "friends in my head"!
I cracked up over your comment about the reliably negative commenters coming to your defense. My mother always felt free to make negative comments about all aspects of my life, however, watch out if anyone else did! She was a fierce mama bear if she ever heard anyone else say something negative to or about me. Take it as a sign of their love and devotion :)
Good morning from the west side of Oregon and blessed Sunday to each and every one of you. Yesterday I watched a re-run of the second decoration day at your parents' Garden Center. I just need a daily fix of all your joy. 😊
I watched it too. Love it so much. Looking forward to the next one.🌹❄⛄🎄🎁🎀
Laura & Aaron, There is no effort involved in watching your videos! LOVE all of them. the filming is great, the editing that Ken does is awesome. I love you guy, seeing your whole family and cats, anytime you feel like showing us.
REQUEST...Laura and Aaron, as a gardener I can appreciate the separation between GARDEN WORK and the LOVE of GARDENING. I've been watching your garden videos about 10 years now and have transformed my 1/2 acre suburban lot into my own GARDEN OASIS. Laura, you have taught me so much, not only about plants but how to garden for the enjoyment. My request is that you keep your videos genuine to your love of gardening and only film the projects that you feel inspired to share with us. Your enthusiasm shows in your videos and is much appreciated. Hugs to you all.😊
These conversations are so interesting. Hearing you both think out loud is a treat. I vote for good balance between your mental health and You Tube.
Truly HOW could anyone be negative to you two?! Ridiculous! Love what you do. Keep up the great work. ❤️
You guys please, don't ever feel like you HAVE TO film something, we will be here no matter what ❤
Hi Laura, what if you did a 5min tulip update tour the beginning/end of each of your daily spring videos!! 🌷🌷🌷🌷🌷🌷🌷
a little 'bonus' at the end, like Cass the Clutterbug does on her videos!
Awesome recap. Have a great day everybody.🌸
I adore these weekly recaps with you and Aaron bouncing conversation back and forth. You 2 are so adorable!❤❤
I agree completely with you Laura about the soft glow of the Hartley. ❤️ The icicle lights seem to detract or take away from the elegance of the structure. The white frame will reflect enough to get captured and I love the idea of a large tree with white lights and the chandelier. Aaron… try it without turning on the white Hartley lights… it’ll be magical; especially if it snows.
Or perhaps a tree with only green lights inside the Hartley.
We are all just along for the journey…your journey! Your videos are a tremendous source of inspiration and joy to me. Thank you!
For me the whole point of bulbs is to see the flower in the spring. It’s like Christmas every year in spring. A big surprise as to what you planted. So fun. Not to pressure but the point of the bulbs is the flowers right?
I totally get what Aaron was saying about screenshots. Prior to a few weeks ago, I would have no true understanding of what he's talking about but I submitted photos to the local Walgreens they were running a Photo special on their 2 x 2 acrylic cube photos. So screenshot all the different photos that I've taken this past year. Just about every single one kept saying "low resolution... photo may appear grainy or pixelated." I didn't understand why. It just so happens that one of the last photos I added, I had taken like a month prior so I didn't have to screenshot it to be at the end of my long list of photos. It was perfect. I didn't get that message about low resolutions. I've learned now whenever I want to have photos printed just take the time to submit the actual photo that I had taken regardless of when it was.... and not to screenshot them!!!!
Got my first Power Planter auger a few years ago after watching you plant bulbs and it was a total game changer…Thank You again!!❤️🌱
A quick tip I was given by a nursery that sells bromeliads here in Central Florida-use distilled water. I know it’s an extra albeit frivolous step, but it really works. I grow the ornamental pineapples and other types that you can attach to trees and they seem to love it! This would eliminate Laura’s hard water issue. It’s sold in the baby section at Walmart usually under $1.
I Agree With Laura. The 2X Super Bright Icicle Lights On The Hartley Are Too Bright, In Addition To
That 'Draped Light' Then Reflecting Off Of All That Glass ..... Wow !
Totally agree with Laura about the lights, I’m more into the cozy vibe ☺️
Glad that Power planter is sponsoring you! I bought a kit last year after seeing how much you used and loved the augur! Now after knee surgery I’m sure it will be even more important to use the power planter augurs for my garden this spring!
Love that you two are so real! Its appreciated. You make me smile.😍
Me too!
I told my husband about the “Garden Nancy” comment and he said he thought I was saying Garden Nancy all this time too-😂😂😅
I love, love, love the honesty and sharing of the necessity of getting things together for projects, having to clean up after projects, having some things that just don't work out. These features actually encourage me to try
I love lights all around your property looks beautiful, but I’m with you Laura. I would’ve taken them off the Hartley and just put a tree and the chandelier inside I think that would just be beautiful ❤
Yayyy another great week and recap. I treat myself to your videos either as a reward for getting my chores completed or as incentive beforehand. You are my number one garden video producer and I have until now overlooked telling you that. You have absolutely changed my life and garden for the better by probably a hundred times. I am at an age that I go forward with the energy from seeing others getting a lot done. There are quite a number of plants and garden ideas that I have borrowed from you guys. Many many thanks for all your contributions to my family. We appreciate you and are always hoping for your best and watching to gain knowledge and gather motivation for projects around our property. Have you heard of hypertufa? A way to make our own kinda rough cement type of pots. Blessings. And please forgive me if I have shared my opinion when it was unwelcome.
Oooo the bulb compilation could be a Laura voice over video, telling the story of spring!
You and your family deserve privacy. Good job keeping some boundaries. We love what you do share.
Garden Nancy🤣🤣🤣Too funny! Love all the highlights-great questions and some laughs to boot!
I love the recap’s and I cannot wait to see how wonderful everything looks next year with all the progress you’ve both made this year ❤❤
Call it the Colonial Garden as a first step to your future plans. Love all your videos.
Oh My Word! What a magical and festive display!! I know Samantha and Benjamin are so excited each evening when the lights go on! You have out done yourselves this year!! The Hartley looks spectacular! Your entire display is fantastic. Merry Christmas Season to you all!! Thank you for sharing it with us!
Laura, you and Aaron are amazing. Thank you for all your inspiration. I am sitting looking at my Amaryllis arrangement, twigs to help hold up the branches plus more than one type of greenery. Plus cinnamon stick ideas from Claus and Hannah’s Advent seminars. The joy of learning should be a lifetime journey. We need to appreciate skills that people such as yourselves generously give to all of us. Thank you.
Love all your videos and garden inspiration ❤no negative comments here. The recap videos are great 😂 I enjoy watching Sunday morning with my coffee.
You guy’s just do you. Great recap loved it. Thank you so very much for sharing this with us.🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦
I love watching these videos on Sunday evening. I save it for the evening because then it eases my stress going the new work week.
❤🕊Good morning, family! Keeping you all in my prayers! Have a wonderful and blessed day!🕊❤
Really LOVE the idea of a recap video of the spring bulbs you have planted. What a wonderful idea. Little clips of their beautiful blooms captured over several months of bloom time. No explanation, just music 🎶 and spring glory in bulbs. That's a video I could watch over and over. Especially on gloomy winter day!🌷🌼🌷
Can’t wait to see the Andrew’s video! So fun! Gets me ready for the holiday season!
Laura and Aaron, I love everything you do and share. I love the inspiration you give me to try something new in my yard, I love seeing your children grow and how patient you are in teaching them, I love seeing your interaction with your family. It is all a blessing to be able to watch. Pay no attention to the negative people. These people have no joy in their own lives and want others to be miserable too. 😢
Another Sunday morning well spent. Love these recap videos. I always learn a little something new from both of you as well as other viewers. Looking forward to the up-coming videos you mentioned. Glad you can find the humor in all the comments! Life is too short and it sounds like even the naysayers feel protective of you. Love what you both do.
Yay! Garden Nancy made it on the
Highlights Channel!
"Nancy" - Show us whatever you choose! It's your channel. Your decisions are fine; we don't know what we may have missed, so give yourself some GRACE. 😍 And Aaron -- I nearly spit out my coffee when you said "Let me look that (potager) up on my google machine". 😅
I guess it takes all kinds but I can’t imagine anyone being negative to the work you guys do. Thank you for all you do,
. I have learned so much.
Thank you for answering my question. 🙂
Good morning from Brooklyn NY. Your videos have really inspired me and kept me motivated to tackle all the garden work that had gone undone over these past two+ years where work was so hard because of COVID. Finally have everything back in shape and ready for the new season next year. Thank you! Can’t wait to see the garden center Christmas tour!
For house plants I add Bio-tone and it does not smell once mixed with soil. Just an FYI and I am so thankful for you both. Thank you for being a source of inspiration and joy to us all. ❤
"It's a peach" a true Southernism. :) Hey, just relocate to Alabama and join gardening in our clay and humidity! Boy, would I love that!
I also garden in a zone 6, only in VA. It’s definitely the moisture along with the cold that ruins concrete here. Our winters are mild and wet for the most part, issues always come after a cold snap when it has been rainy and everything freezes under the snow.
That combo of leaves and grass clippings from a fall mow is gardeners gold to me. I have used it for decades. We have never raked leaves.
Now we know how you get so much done you have help from garden Nancy.
😂😂😂
I'm with you Laura No lights on the Hartley just a lit Christmas tree in the Middle would be elegant.
Hi. I am zone 3 in Canada. I don’t buy concrete or terracotta pots for outside because our growing season is short, winter is long and cold and they would have to be inside to prevent cracking. Freeze and thaw cycles in spring are the most damaging I believe.
Manitoba here, yep no terra cotta for me..lesson learned and too heavy to cart inside each fall! Happy Prairie winter! ❄️🇨🇦❄️🇨🇦
I think Portico garden has a nice ring to it…It ties in with what we typically see when you’re doing projects & it works for today or any future changes. It’s your space, whatever you decide to call it only has to make sense to you 😊
I always think that you should do you. If it makes you happy to squeeze the blooms in, yay and If not, don't stress about it. I am thankful for what you do show and share with us and if you show more, it always makes my day!
Okay.... I LOVE seeing and hearing Laura wave and say "bye" at the end of each video, but this time I felt I wanted to see the same from Aaron too..... x 🌼🌼🌼🙏😇🇦🇺🌼🌼🌼🕊️
Always enjoy Sunday morning recaps ✨
Yea! I am looking forward to the Garden center open house. Love the recap, as always. We all have things we want you to do or show but you have to follow you own path so ignore the negativity and do what feels right for you. Thank you for all these years of fun and peace I have had watching Garden Answer.
Happy Sunday! 🌞
I see her point about the Hartley. The icicles look great, but very bright. I'd imagine a one color set of lights on a huge Christmas tree or a multi-colored lit tree would work in there but I can't imagine seeing the chandelier with all of the LEDs on the outside.
I can see what Aaron meant about the top set of lights being crooked.
I don't remember it looking like that last year. I will review 2021's video for reference...🎄
