The biggest problem facing any soldier isn’t actual combat although that does consume a larger portion of the casualties caused by war, but the real killer of soldiers is the weight of their equipment, granted I’ve never served but as someone who’s played airsoft and so has a generalistic view of what a soldier has to deal with, honestly every gram of weight saved is a pound saved per mile 😂😂, and when you’ve been carrying that heavy gear all day 😂😂

Designed according to a different doctrine. The AGS is much lighter to the point of actually being man portable and is designed with indirect fire in mind. Mk.19 is an excellent weapon but I can’t imagine trying to hump one or it’s ammunition

The 30mm is a weak rou d compared to NATO 40mm. Muxh les explosives in a round, less fragmentation.

Lol nothing to the 40mm Mk19 series. The 30mm round has much less explosives and little lethal power.
