Awesome keep up the good work wish there was English subtitles ❤

Thanks for your feedback. It usually takes a week until English subs are generated. (Annoying I know 😅) I might consider trying to do a video in English in the future.

Nick and Sabrina, you guys must be so proud and satisfied with your build! Not just functional but so neat and beautiful as well! When you use the indoor sleeping space, how are you supporting the one cushion (and body weight) that covers the "pathway" when the bed area is expanded?
Also, have you at all considered a kitchen sink and if so, why did you opt not to have one? Have you found this not to be something you really use on your travels?
Finally, I see you are treating the wood? Sounded like you do multiple applications (before and after cutting?) The subtitles and translations cut out and not accurate at times so a missed a couple of things :)

      Hey- 👋🏽
So glad your enjoying the Videos and can take the best out of our build 🔥
      About your questions:
      - the middle part lays on the ridge towards the back and in front are two folding legs mounted. So its supported in the back and in the front.
      - Sink would be for sure something nice to have- we carry a portable one. TTBT having one inside of the Defender would not be handy in my point of view- the space is already very limited and fitting a sink and 2 kanisters(grey and white water) would take a lot of it away.
-treatment: yes we treated the raw wood(not the laminated one) with oil wax in the end of the build. We use Osmo Oil wax which gave it a nice finish and protects it from scratches. Water wise it would not have been necessary sind the Queenply wood does not suck up water. I tested it - i put a piece submerged in water for 24h and the measurement did not change.

Nice job. Very neat. Have you fitted foam on the base to stop rattling etc?

We use this for clothing, so no foam for that one. I added plastics to the other cabinet to stop rattling and moving.

Was habt ihr für Holz verwendet?

Das ist Queenply Holz. Unglaublich leicht, ca 50% leichter als Sperrholz Birke. Sind super Happy damit. Grüsse
