Salam Alaikum brother Adnan, as a English revert, I thoroughly enjoyed seeing you visiting and appreciating these quaint little historic villages in England. In sha Allah they provide you with a wonderful setting for your reading and studies.
Ty for the tour through Medieval Lavenham. If people only knew how important these buildings are from the 14th century they would understand this rich history. Wouldn’t this be the perfect place to take students to during classes? Ty Adnan for sharing because I feel with your lead many will appreciate historic history before it is too late and all gone.
Thats a shame brother. may Allah (God) make things easier for you on your journey to him. Remember these things are tests from to strengthen you my good sir.❤
I love this type of content. I spent 6 months in a village called Mayfield, Kent. The place is very old, similar to this. They have a little statue of a devil that was caught by some people. My bedroom backed on to a grave yard.
May Allah bless you for making these videos, they are truly hidden gems and remnants of the past civilisations and for those of us who have a keen interest in history, these videos prove to be very informative!!
Britain has always fascinated me with their rich history, from the Victorian era to medieval times, castles, building like these. Pubs, and their formal and proper English language you hear in medieval movies. To be honest I envy them for it.
One of the most famous nursery rhymes was written in Lavenham by a young girl amazed that wherever she looked she could see the de Vere star symbol carved in door lintels and the stone of her church, the church where the Holy Grael is alleged to be buried, and so as part of the guide to those whom seek to go on the Grael quest and have their Grael vision, she wrote Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, her name, Jane Taylor, 23 September 1783 - 13 April 1824, the stars she wrote about are the emblem of the de Vere family.
Bhai, a comparison of housing in Europe during the same period with that in the Islamic world, particularly the Indian subcontinent, would yield an interesting insight for us!

assalamu alaikum anyone in comment box please help me with this question recently when I studying about preservation of quran to strengthen my faith I came to about the above question and I have one more doubt there is a hadees from sahih bukhari that zaid ibn thanth ra started looking for the Qur'an and collecting it from (what was written on) palmed stalks, thin white stones and also from the men who know it by heart, till I found the last verse of Surah At-Taubah with Abu Khuzaimah al-Ansari (Radiya Allahu Anhu), and I did not find it with anybody other than him" . [Reported by Imams al-Bukhari and Muslim ]. My question is this if the laste verse is only with abu kuzaima ra does that mean that no other sahaba know about that verse or no sahaba know that verse by heart this also rise the question that wether other sahaba like zaid umar abubakr uthman and other sahaba who compiled the quran memorised the entire quran?because if the verse 9.128-129 is only known by one sahaba then it means the rest of the sahaba don't know entire quran by heart becuase it said in hadith of sahih bukhari that zaid ra also collected quran from the hearts of men which question whether the other sahaba know the entire quran by heart which will effect the preservation of quran becuase I belive quran is truly preserved in the hearts of people by memorising starting from sahaba if the sahaba don't know the entire quran by heart it will be a problem for preservation of quran.2 my second question is it is also said that know verses where accepted by zaid ra without 2 testimony of the entire quran is memorised by sahaba then they know which are the authentic verses and my 3 question is that I am not sure about this but I heard that one of the verses brought by umar ra was not accepted becuase he failed to bring 2 testimony if the sahaba know the entire quran by heart they will know that whether the verse brought by umar ra is authentic or not it is also said that umar ra memorized entire quran so even he know wether the verse is correct or not and he can easily bring other sahaba as testimony if other sahaba like zaid and abubakr and uthman know the entire quran by heart and my 3 question is that how zaid ra accept the last two verse if abu kuzaima didn't bring 2 testimony becuase the verse is only found with him and .4I want to know that whether there was sahaba who memorized the entire quran at the time of compilation of quran becuase I believe that from the time of prophet to know quran is really preserved in the hearts of human from sahaba to until know if the sahaba at the time of compilation of quran doesn't know entire quran by heart it will create doubt in my mind about the preservation of quran Brother I am truly sorry to disturb you with this long question and sorry about this question but becuase of this questions in my mind my iman and belief is getting weaker day by day please help me becuse I want strengthen my faith because I am feeling that I am losing my iman day by day because of this question and iam scared that wether I will leave islam.

Love these old homes, well maintained. Beautiful towns, countryside and or villages
Mashallah English medieval towns are so beautiful.
It’s great to see British Muslims appreciating English history. We need more people like him.
Really great. As a convert I usually feel isolated from the Muslim community because of ethnicity but this somehow made me feel closer.
I recommend reading: John Makdisi's 1999 article in The North Carolina Law Review on The Islamic origins of the Common law.
I’m not ethically English but I have a bigger fascination with English history than my own.
That's a shame. If you have a local masjid nearby, do attend regularly so you can be part of the community inshaaAllaah.

Careful brother - you might bump into Nigel Farage there
A walk in the past.
Will a mosque be built there any time soon?
Weren't you tempted to knock on the door for a quick chat with the locals?
