I plan on making more horror oriented stories in the future actually. Ofc it will still have all the silly and funny stuff, it's TF2 after all, but I like when comedy/light hearted stories have elements of horror in them :3

So wait, if teams have respawn system, why do they worry about dying? You're gonna fuse with your Shadow, and then die. Then Respawn system will separate your soul and your Shadow, and you'll be back good as new. Did Shadow belong to all Snipers in this universe or just this one Sniper? I thought every person here was his own individual, but it seems they are just clones. Did the Shadow "reset" for all of the other Sniper's clones, too? Looking at the narrative of this episode, I think it did, otherwise there would be other snipers. And, again, if Respawn does exist in this exact universe, why would they have so many mercs on each team? Do they have a body limit?
P.S. my comment may come out as aggressive, but I didn't mean it! I genuinely liked the episode, and I like the series as a whole. I love all the lore and concepts introduced with each uploaded video! It's just how my brain shows love: dissects every little detail and studies it
There are likely limitations to the respawn system, like it's only used in a match between two teams, and the shadow is probably capable of damaging it's owner's soul. As to whom it targets - this particular shadow had the same cosmetics as the sniper it was after, but it's possible that it just copies the cosmetics of the closest member of it's class (the sniper, in our case).
The Shadows seem to be based on the individual. Engineer stated that each time they respawn, the shadows manifest as a result, and are tailored to each individual. Engineer stated that fact _in the video,_ and that while they have no idea what happens because of NFT Engineer destroying their research base, they know currently that what happens is nothing good. It seems to be that The way to prevent the shadow from interacting with the soul is to not look at them for more than a passing glance... Sniper made that grave error of staring at it, and caused the shadow to call to his soul, which caused it to chase him. Sunlight is the only way to truly stop a Shadow as it renders the Shadow Docile. However, what bothers me is that After Sam Hat Sniper got his shadow reunited with his Soul, we see the shadows from the recently slaughtered RED Team look down at Tiny Heavy... And They are all Stock Classes. No Cosmetics the RED team wore, nothing. This implies that the aftermath of a Soul Reuniting with a seperate shadow can interlock a person's soul to the shadow and likely lock them out of Respawning... Which may explain the "Ghost" that worked in Team BLK... He was a Sniper that reunited with his split off Shadow, perished and became a Shadow Being, before eventually transforming into a Ghost over time. Of course, the alternative is that once a Shadow reunites with the Soul, it takes a piece of the Soul and leaves the Rest of it to respawn, letting the Shadow eventually develop into a Ghost... And while the Soul can heal over time, it takes time that the Classes cannot afford more often than not, so it ends up resulting in them having to use the Respawn more often... And that creates Multiple Shadows devoid of Souls... And that means repeat cases could result in a person being forever lost.

your animation is getting so much better so fast ur on ur way to sfm stardom my man i especially appreciate the pacing, usually creators want to fill every second of a tf2 vid with chaos, which is an ok idea but very overdone - the moving camera angles, the way you animate even simple transitionary scenes, it's a breath of fresh air for the sfm scene and makes for a unique and very enjoyable experience of watching a silly tf2 vid c: thank u now pls don't turn out to be a piece of shit once you hit it big, gl!

First time ive heard the buildings talk in your animations. Not going to lie, i kinda like it, it adds more personality to your take on the tf2niverse. I would ask if youd ever add the humanoid versions of engi's buildings, but im sure if you wanted to do that you wouldve done it already.
