I want to see the defense stop the run consistently. In this division they must be able to stop the run and force third and longs, get the defense off the field. The defensive line and ends are dangerously thin. You don’t want guys like Kris Jenkins, Joseph Ossai, Zack Carter, Cedric Johnson taking a bunch of snaps because the defense is gassed because they can’t stop drives and get off the field. The Bengals in my opinion have not done enough to replace DJ Reader. McKinnley Jackson is injured and even when healthy he is *not* a Nose Tackle. He was inconsistent at best against double teams at A&M, he was always getting pushed off the line. He’s a decent depth 3 tech because he has size and strength and a very good first step. He can be a rotational asset if used that way, but they just don’t have a NT on the roster and if Jackson were healthy and showing promise, maybe those two help against the run rotationally. But Myles Murphy is hurt, he was definitely part of their plan for replacing Reader. I’m just not sold that we’re not going to continue getting gashed in the run game by Cleveland, Baltimore, and even Pittsburgh and their patchwork offensive line.
Great show guys. Awesome panel...but...all these optimistic offense predictions are dependent on Jamar Chase playing +13...which given his proven sitouts-holdins is not really a given at this exact moment. Without Chase we aint winning rings... lets cut to the "chase"
Joe Burrow's 2024 Season Stats: 6,000+ Passing Yards 60+ TDs 0 Interceptions Unanimous League MVP OPOY CBPOY Pro Bowl First Team All Pro SB MVP I think this year will be similar to his 2019 Year at LSU because the Super Bowl is in New Orleans
The fact that people are talkin about Charlie jones before Jermaine Burton is crazy to me lol, Burton way too talented and Charlie jones was giving up on routes last year, Jermaine needs priority over him if we wanna win
The QB and Head coach have both said Burton needs to get in his playbook more. That means he doesn't know the offense well enough to start. It's on Burton if he wants to see the field bc he has the skills
I’m with Jay on the short yardage concern also. Kendall Milton may be the only back on the roster with short yardage skills, and he’ll have to play his way off the practice squad to see game snaps if there are no injuries. I love Chase Brown’s toughness and explosiveness, but he hasn’t had any goal line touches in the NFL, so I don’t know if he can fill that role. I know he can house it on any given play, but short yardage work is different. Moss has never been a goal line back, nor has Trayveon Williams.
This is the stress of the common fan. The common man and woman, who struggle every day to get by, and rely on their NFL team for an escape 17-21 days a year, and who once again must watch insanely wealthy individuals haggle over a few extra dollars, (those few extra dollars being more money than they will make over a lifetime of hard work). Watching the rich and their lawyers and the agents haggle over the me me mine mine, is now part of the game, part of the stress. Of course the fan is going to say PAY HIM WHATEVER HE WANTS. Because the common fan wants to simply enjoy football now that the season is here, to ENJOY the preparation on winning the 1st weeks game, and not another year of this nonsense. But Chase wants his and Mike wants his while the common fan goes WITHOUT, once again.
James Rapien is like the grandson at the VA dance with the Vet’s😂. Love the Eagles, rock on!!
Bengals baby❤🎉🎉🎉🐯
I think somebody on the D line will have double digit sacks besides Trey Hendrickson. That’s my season prediction.

You might be right we need Jenkins to be good and that’s asking a lot of a rookie

love the Eagles "Heartache Tonight" reference!
Why’s Tee hitting 1300 mean anything, tee and Jamar 1300 is 2600 when Burrow easily throws for 4500 yards so what are we talking about here guys 🤷
