      @@Chris-ji8jw Love this positive attitude! Hope it's going well. If you're still experiencing some physical WD's, I highly recommend megadosing LIPOSOMAL Vitamin C (4-5kmg/day), black seed oil (really soothes your body when you're getting cold sweats, and it works almost IMMEDIATELY and relief stays for a few hours), and Gabapentin if you can get your hands on it (it's not a schedule II drug, so if u just ask your PCP, they should prescribe you some; 3-600mg/day). I haven't started my taper yet, but based on over a years worth of research on handling K and opiate withdrawals, the aforementioned supplements should help immensely whether you go CT or not. Good luck, friend! :D

    I was on a full tablespoon not teaspoon 6 to 9 times a day. Yes 100 mg a day. I bought it by the kilos. I’ve been tapering for 3 weeks. I’m so thrilled to say I’m now at 6 grams a day and will be dosing down to 3 in a week then one more week and then I’m done with the green monster forever! You got that right... minutes at a time even... I'm with you on the restless legs too.. trying to get ANY sleep is horrible when you can't focus on anything except for how bad you feel. The physical anxiety is awful too, just like, your whole body is writhing and vibrating almost. I think I could handle the other side effects like the nausea and the cold sweats, those are nothing compared to the anxiety and restlessness. Not too mention the financial downfall, ruined credit score, family tension, depression etc.. I sure hope you're doing better and I'm hoping to do the same asap

      @@theNomadWay. I appreciate it. Day 8 now I believe, not really wanting kratom but definitely experiencing the classic anhedonia and some sneezing. I should clarify that I used alcohol and THC ONLY for the first few days, and honestly can't recommend doing it because it's too easy to trade one habit for another. I do support the cannabis movement, however, in terms of detox, it's important that you feel some sort of withdrawal during the detox period similar to how you learned not to touch hot objects. This is of course for any of your viewers who may read this, as you've already conquered the difficult part.

      Just taper slowly, it took a while for your brain to get to that point. It will take a while for your brain to get back down. Reduce 1/2 a gram every 5 to 7 days and just keep going down. Going from one extreme to another like cold turkey is not a good solution.

    22 grams a day is not too much IMO

    • @theNomadWay.
      @theNomadWay.  Год назад +1

      I know what you’re saying but realistically, it’s a lot for normal people though lol. 22 grams of any substance in one day is a lot. It’s easy to get carried away. I almost did more but I was able to somehow subconsciously know 22 gpd was a lot of Kratom in one day. That’s actually an interesting fact I never thought about before. I definitely cut myself off subconsciously from taking a higher dose per day.

    i just started to use kratom to fight off tramadol depression and fear. im 10 days into my cold turkey on tramadol and it still makes me seriously depressed beyond what i can handle. i took one gram on monday of kratom and it didnt make a dent on my depression. just took 2 grams an hour ago and i now feel better. i fear addictions in general but i hope to use kratom just to get rid of the depression and if and when that ends i will taper off of kratom. or at least that is my plan.

    Bro I've been trying to kick an 80GPD multi-year habit for years now and everytime it kills me and i give up. It feels like having my skin ripped off of me and my nerves burned. But I have to keep pushing because I have people in my life who are affected by this and as you said - I can't keep being that person who is dependent. And it does come with consequences. But it's hard. Nobody told me that kratom was as effective as morphine at the right doses. I would have never touched the stuff.
