- I bough this Risotto a while ago in Aldi to review ! So what was it like ?
This was a very nice dish of very tasty food - The rice was cooked perfectly and remained Al Dente - The four cheese sauce was rich and creamy and full of flavour ! the meal was perfectly seasoned and very enjoyable to the last mouthful - I would buy this again and can recommend it - I score this 8 out of 10 - it is very good for a packet rice but the cooking instructions are not correct ! it states 15 minutes but it took 25 minutes -
this is nice with fish and broad beans ..
Good Afternoon Anthony, thank you for the comment - I agree with you about the Fish it would work very well with this risotto = unfortunately I am not a fan of Broad Beans unless they are direct from the pod ! have a great Afternoon :-)
I think it's one of those things you could easily liven up with some extras maybe some chopped up bacon/ham a few mushrooms even some prawns / smoked fish the sky is the limit depends what you have in your fridge/cupboard. I'm sure you will soon be feeling a lot better when the weather picks up a bit and Mrs J is back home oh and the nights are getting lighter.
Good Afternoon MansfieldLad, thank you for the comment - you could add other things to this risotto to make it a larger meal - I am really looking forward to the Spring time and those longer nights minus the virus - Mrs J is home now and making me work for my keep ! lol - thankfully was are coming to the end of the virus and life can get back to some form of normality - Have a great afternoon :-)
I like a risotto but not had one for ages since I last had one in a Italian restaurant and disappointingly it wasn't creamy but claggy and dry. Put me off but I'd like to try this one but add some mushrooms to it. Great review bro, take care of yourself and hope your better half is still on the mend 🙏🏻🩵
Good Afternoon Karlos , thank you for the comment - I do like Risotto and should have it more often as you can add all sorts of things to it to make a decent meal - this one from Worlwide foods is really good and they do a mushroom one as well which is excellent - we are both getting better now and hopefully by next week the virus will have moved on ! Hi Graham, your throat sounds better today 👍 i love mushroom risotto, but don't remember where i've had it. I was in Italy & think i had either pumpkin risotto or cheese risotto, but it was gorgeous. I might try this as i've not had risotto in years 😀👍

@ Ah cool I love Black Sabbath I like the instrumental Fluff and my Favorite would be Children of The Grave! Yeah I think at the moment My Favorite Band would be Chimaira. You too.
