Great job Mr. Griff I took auto upholstery class downtown community College in San Diego yrs ago, i did full custom interior in my 1966 Impala 2 door.. It's a commitment but when it's all done and you did it yourself its a great accomplishment
I like your idea of the foam, I have 2006 gto seats in my 67 GTO and I had plan to use wood and add cup holders and charging ports as my filler... I'll will be going with your design ..good job
This is Jimmie Lee from HTOWN. Thanks for the Upholstery video you are right on the money. One question who sells that type of foam. Another quick video idea 💡, I see that Ring Brothers box, I bought some myself but hadn't even open my box yet. Can you show a quick install video. I bought both trunk and hood hinges. Thanks Again
The electric carving knife is what pros use….my mother did upholstery for the better part of my life and I always remember her shaping the foam with an electric knife
Great job Mr. Griff

Awesome! If you get dense enough foam you could prob do cup holders inside the foam pieces. I thought of that as well.
Congratulations on the house…..
Thank you!
Hot wire knife works great for cutting foam
Oh yes! I heard of that!

Sorry for delay! Honestly, I think I just got it off Amazon, or ordered it from Allbright
Update on the fillers?
Working perfect! Check out my Chevelle playlist as I have a follow up video on this.
Masonite……not cardboard
Template paper is what they are going to use.
