My power bank, (which has a very vague user guide), has 4 ports. 2 USB-A, 1 Micro USB and 1 C-Type USB. Can I use these ports for output as well as for input? Example: I want to power a warming belt which has a C-Type female connection . I have a USB cable that has C-Type male connectors on both ends. Can I use this via the C-Type connection on the power bank to the C-Type connection on the belt? Or do I have to use the USB-A connection on the power bank to the C-Type connection on the belt? I would really appreciate your expertise.
Hello, it depends on the type of USB type C port on your power bank. Some of them are bi-directional, while others are for input only. The easiest way is to test it out and see if it works, nothing can go wrong. Also, USB-A ports are output-only and Micro-USBs are input-only. Hope this helps!
Thank you for the easy instructions on this. Wish I had seen this before I bought my power bank because now I want the one in the middle that you have with the C type cord and easy display to read. My instruction booklet doesn't even tell me there is an "output" and "input" slot, and the only charging I've ever done is with just the wall adaptor for my phone. We get a lot of power outages, so I really need a power bank for emergencies.
Can I charge powerbank using type c, bc if I compare using type C much quicker tho. Will it drain powerbank battery fast once connect charging to the phone?🤔😔

I usually use the cord it came with but I did try a different one to test it, but it's the same.Is there a lifetime (whether number or uses or age) to power banks? Yes, power banks, just like other batteries have a limited lifetime. For more info check out this article: www.powerbankexpert.com/how-long-does-a-portable-charger-last/. No dumb questions here. You can use any type C cable with your power bank. But please be aware that not all cables are the same, so charging speed might vary.
So if I go camping and I plug a power bank into my car cigarette lighter with USB c power bank that can be used as an input port or an output port, am I charging my power bank using my car battery, or am I charging my car battery using my power bank?
In that case, the power bank will be charged. The car charger port works only in one direction...you cannot use it to charge your car's battery. However, if you charge your power bank while the engine is running, the car battery will not get depleted...only if the engine is off.
Hi. I bought a 20000 mAh power bank produced by ExtraStar (if I understood correctly a Spanish-Chinese enterprise) (I cannot find any info on YT, nor on the internet in general). It has two USB output ports: 5V/1.0A and 5V/2.0A. It charges through a micro, input 5V/2.0A. When charging the display shows the percentage reached. I read somewhere that charging up to 85% instead of 100% prolongs battery life. What do you think? Thank you.
It's ok to charge it up to 100%, it won't do that much damage to the battery life. What's more important is not to let it drain out to 0% all the time. As much as you can, try to charge it up once it hits between 10% and 20%. It can go to 0% too but try not to make a habit out of it.
Thank you for the nice video. What is your thought about a phone should be charged with the mfg recommended voltage but no one talks about input voltage when charging a power pak. Secondly, when describing a power pak by watts one does not know the voltage. Therefore, one would not know the output voltage which might be too much for a particular phone. Thank you for everything

My Li-polymer 18000mAH 5v power bank should be equally chargeable from its built-in solar panel or USB. It charges OK from USB, but sunshine causes it to discharge instead of charge. Blue LEDs correctly indicate presence of sunshine on its solar panel, but this sunshine causes battery to go down instead of up. I can only suspect internal wiring between solar and battery must have reversed polarity somewhere. I seek guidance on how to correct this
Usually, power banks with built-in solar panels are very inefficient. Especially the ones with a single solar panel (some have 3-4 foldable panels and are slightly better). If it works as planned, the single solar panel can fully charge the power bank in about 20 days or so if left under direct sunlight. However, if the solar panel is of lower quality than expected, or if the power bank is not put under direct sunlight, then I could expect to see effects like the ones you mentioned. So I'm not so sure if you can do anything to fix your power bank, unfortunately.
Thanks for the reply, but no, although mine's only a single panel, I don't think my problem's anything to do with the strength of solar energy it receives; it's the polarity of the connection between its solar source and the battery. Whenever it shows solar energy being received, it starts to flatten the battery instead of charging it, If I knew how to identify the internal connection between the solar part and the battery part, and I could simply reverse it, then I believe I could start to get some benefit from its solar generation. I can only guess this reversed polarity symptom is due to an error in its original assembly.

As long as they are compatible, you won't damage the power bank even though the charger can supply more power than the power bank actually needs. The power bank will only "take" as much power as it can.
That’s funny because i’m actually using a battery pack is my replacement charger for my laptop because I can’t find the actual charger for it this should output enough watts to power on and charge
It's difficult to know what the actual problem is without analyzing the power bank. Maybe this article will help you troubleshoot: www.powerbankexpert.com/power-bank-blinking-but-not-charging/

Can you damage your power bank if you charge it for example with a MacBook Pro charger 86w charger? Or any laptop charger?
As long as they are compatible, you won't damage the power bank even though the charger can supply more power than the power bank actually needs. The power bank will only "take" as much power as it can.
That’s funny because i’m actually using a battery pack is my replacement charger for my laptop because I can’t find the actual charger for it this should output enough watts to power on and charge
Why bank charging slow now tell me please
When is the "how to poop" tutorial?

It's difficult to know what the actual problem is without analyzing the power bank. Maybe this article will help you troubleshoot: www.powerbankexpert.com/power-bank-blinking-but-not-charging/

Can I charge my joyroom 10k mah power bank with 80W charger?
Yes, you should be able to. Give it a try.
@@PowerBankExpert Thanks a lot
If I purchase a power bank maybe a 20,000 or more how long will that power bank how many times can I get a full charge out of one power bank
I'm not sure I fully understand the question. But the number of charges you will get will depend on the size of your phone's battery. A 20000mAh power bank could charge your phone up to 3-4 times. Here are more details on this topic: www.powerbankexpert.com/how-many-mah-to-charge-phone/
How many time can I fully charged 100% my phone battery
@@victoriotrevino9757 It depends on the capacity of your phone's battery
I have that but in black, the problem is that its flashlight is on and I have no idea how to turn it off
Try to press the power button two times in quick succession. If that doesn't work, try a long-press on the power button.
@@PowerBankExpert I already tried it and it keeps turning on, no matter how much I press the button the flashlight does not turn off
Should the charging block wattage be the same as the power bank wattage ?
No, they can be different. Power banks have regulating circuitry that will draw the power needed, even if the charging block can supply more power.
@@PowerBankExpert Thank you. Does the block wattage affect the time it takes to recharge a power bank. 12w vs 18w 5v/2a
@@edwardgreen5880 yes, it does. if the wattage is lower than the max input of the power bank, it will take longer to load. You should preferably use charging blocks with higher wattage.
@@PowerBankExpert Thank you.

Can i charge with two imputs?
Some power banks allow for dual charging. It depends on your power bank model.
What Power Bank do you recommend for the Steam Deck?
According to the power requirements of the Steam Deck, you'd need a power bank that outputs at least 45W. Here's an example: www.powerbankexpert.com/ravpower-portable-charger-20000mah-pd-60w-review/
@@PowerBankExpert Thanks very much…
Thanks man!

Amazing how many people needed an explanation of the obvious!!
And how many rude comments there are..
Well, hey, you must be from a younger generation than us in our late 70's... so we needed the instruction as the instruction booklets don't get it... and, guess what, I'll send you some of my 8 track music and see if you can figure that out. ha
thank you..
Can these be charged in car?
Yes, they can
thanks
