Entire sovereign nations suing woke California-based companies for *ACTUAL 'cultural appropriation'* is a business trend I hope continues.
Your average Californian is Irony impaired (speaking as one myself). They don't understand that claiming to speak on behalf of a culture they know nothing about, showing the culture incorrectly, and taking time to disregard key events and figures in their history (due to them being problematic or not sanitized), is seen as "empowerment"... ironically, they stuff they produce is worse than "old carictures" of different races or everyone talks like your average west coast city dweller. I don't make the rules, I just live here....

samurai was a class, shinobi was a jobb title. Daimyo (samurai lord) did send their samurai (or hired a local fisherman etc deppending on skill/knowlage etc) on shinobi work. shinobi was espionage, infiltration, information gathering and rarely but possible assassination. or like spy. these samurai on shinobi jobs eventually become in modern day the black dressed ninja from specialised and secret clans, even tho the real deal most likley potrayed as a commoner, servant etc to blend in, like you can choose to do as agent 47 in Hitman, but on the long term instead.
in short there was no ninja/shinobi (class) vs Samurai (class). the fact ubisoft did not know that shows the deep of research they done. most likley like this: "there is a place, yup"

Most overly sensitive ppl these days would never survive those old lobbies. There were barely any filters. If you don't like what ppl are saying either mute them, leave the match, or talk trash back to them. If you can't handle that space you're in maybe you should leave. Our society has turned so many people into huge "tissue crybabies" that can't handle their mental and emotional states.

I don't want to be in a footy head locker room, and I understand if women dont want to be there either, but its the footy head's space, they shoudn't have to care about my or any womans judgment of it, and I respect that. But it is fallacious and manipulative to project that onto all male spaces. I'm a skater, and I see all sorts of people at my local skatepark. We have so few problems, that when a kid got punched by a toxic parent a few weeks ago (a legitimate example of a toxic male, who didn't want his eshay son hanging around with enlightened skaters), the police had to ask us what to call the park in thier report because none of them had ever had a reason to know about it yet. The same goes for the vast, vast majority of mostly male gaming spaces. For example the old 80s 90s arcades were very inclusive and really no one even talked about gender back then, but you could see it coming if you were hip to how universities worked and knew a bit of history.
