This song has everything one could ask for, the gut wrenching screams, the majestic cleans, sex worthy guitar parts, and the beautiful sound of the piano at the end, this is one of my all time favorites by ATR
@Mezzy Mez Sad. Devil likes to make his way in and ruin families. Look what occured with the lead singer of As I lay Dying. Phil is a Christian but keeps it to himself but does reflect some of that in a lot of his music. I bring it up because in the 20 years I been a Christian I see this occur more often than not.
Hands down one of the most intense and beautiful songs I have ever heard in my life. Musically and lyrically...the song title alone couldn't be more perfect. I printed the lyrics and am going to frame them on my wall and read it everyday. I am so fucking inspired right now!
The Order of Things is not my favorite ATR album, but if you approach it as ATR branching out and writing a hard rock album that has some incredible deep cuts, it's a solid album, and this song in particular is a high light. Plus it brings me back to a point in my life where these lyrics were extremely relevant to me, and is another reminder of Oli's amazing guitar work.
I remember going through some of the songs I used to listen to on Spotify a few months ago and found some older songs from ATR (This Calling and Not Alone to name a few) and clicked on the artist page to see if I could find some other cool songs. Then I saw that they'd put out a new album. I first listened to This Probably Won't End Well, A Reason For Me To Fight and Divide and thought "Hmm, this is pretty good" but none of them even compare to this song. Forget "Best song off the album". Forget "Best song from ATR". This is, and probably forever will be the best song I've heard. This is now the benchmark for every song I hear from now until I die. It really is that good in my opinion.
I know dude. Well Bite My Tongue is my least favorite off the new album, but other than that all the others the second half are pretty amazing. This is one of the best songs they've ever done.
Well Hi there DisturbedShadow. I agree. 1. Pernicious 2. A Reason For Me To Fight* 3. Criticism and Self-Realization 4. Fiat Empire 5. Victory Lap 6. Tru-Kvlt-Metal 7. The Greatest Generation 8. This Probably Won't End Well 9. Divide 10. For You 11. No Knock 12. Bite My Tongue* There are only 2 exceptions for me. And they're marked with a *
Nicholas Smith A sweet surprise came with the new cd/tshirt/poster in the mail today. The poster is signed, fuck yeah! I've been listening to The Order of Things nonstop since midnight Tuesday. Thanks for making more bad ass music.
I'm not who I fucking want to be. And it's all my fault. self doubt... setting limitations for myself. Giving up because I can't tell if I want the things I want for myself or for acceptance or to prove people from my past wrong...
Gotta respect All that remains for being creative. Every band has to evolve its sounds and hone its musical style. This is a good album....not as good as their initial albums but this album is good album for them. Its good to be able to do diverse styles.
I like when good metal band changing into rock band with style. Its hard to find really catchy and melodic alternative rock this days and here they Come with really nice piece of cake.
1:17 does anyone else hear those distant high pitched screams in the background? They appear when he says 'pride' and 'belong' So cool! They're barely audible but they add so much ambiance
Been a fan since 2004, always been told how much they suck, 14 years as a "commercial" band and they are still putting out some amazing music. Still waiting for them to suck, not sure its ever going to happen. I'm aware they have been around longer than 14 years, but in terms of their productions its been 14 years.
They didn't used to, they have ever since A War You Cannot Win in my opinion. This is the only song I have heard since For We Are Many that I didn't outright hate, and I don't find it to be half as good as their old content.
seems like a new "focus shall not fail" or "the weak willed". Good that they are writing that kind of songs again. Still waiting for a new "this darkened heart" like song.
There are so many songs, bands, content around. But there are a few that make your blood boil or freeze. And this is the case when you want to listen to a song without interruption. It's brilliant!
Haha they did on half the songs on this album. The Greatest Generation (4:00 For You (4:16) Pernicious (4:02) Bite My Tongue (4:08) Fiat Empire (4:04) And Criticism and Self-Realization (7:03) But this is their longest song in their discography. Home To Me (6:46) was their previous longest
I was driving while listening to this song. 5:18 I thought the noise was coming from the car, my tire was flat and my disc was rubbing. Thank you ATR for this minor heart attack.
I wish they didn't phase out the solo at 5:00 that was probably my favorite part, but other than that, I really like how this song stands out from all the others on the album.
I thought that was pretty cool. I also believe the piano part at the end is a slower version of the guitar at the beginning of the song, which sounds cool.
1. This Probably Won't End Well 5/5 (Best of the album) 12. No Knock 2.5/5 (Worst of the album) 2. Divide 5/5 9. The Greatest Generation 3.5/5 8. For You 4/5 6. A Reason For Me To Fight 4.5/5 5. Victory Lap 4.5/5 3. Pernicious 5/5 7. Fiat Empire 4.5 11. Bite My Tongue 3/5 10. Tru-Kvlt-Metal 3/5 4. Criticism and Self-Realization 4.5/5
May be I'm wrong, but I love the message of this song - it's like criticism with groul and guitars and then self realisation with this piano part. Just like living some crazy life and finally having some time for reflux and think about some deep questions
I can't deny it's a good song, but not heavy enough for me. I like a mix of soft and scream, some of which this album actually had, but it was just so poorly composed. I tried forcing myself to like it, but couldn't :/ I'm just holding out for Atreyu's new album, hoping it'll be something like Bleeding Mascara or Right Side of the Bed again.
DIdnt know how to take this album when i first heard it.... BUT i love ATR AND THIS ALBUM is actually great. love the harmony.. its like... several Six type songs all together.
At. First I didn't like this album but as I started to listen to it I realized this album kicks ass in a whole new way from their other albums I apologize to anyone who feels I "forced my opinion" and to atr .......atr for life
Thank you, I think we can shall may ( any suitable helping verb ) try to love and appreciate ourselves during storm or when sudden criticism is upon us, and say to ourselves " thank you for being composed normal supportive and reminding me of my work inspite of angry showers or heavy criticism " --- it can shall may ( or any suitable helping verb ) give us a sense of pride and belongingness..
They've changed a while ago....into something that is radio rock friendly. Remember TFOI? Yeah that's the All That Remains that I knew. Not this. Bands do what they want to do? I'm not stupid I know. They do what they want. Look at Of Mice & Men. First 2 albums were great, now they suck.
Nu Metal, but regardless I'm not a fan of Restoring Force. Austin's voice sounds forced, Aaron is a good vocalist but I prefer Shayley, the riffs sound generic, the lyrics sound as if a 8th grader wrote them, and Tino's drumming is so bland. He's a much better drummer than what he is now. Not a fan of RF. Taylor Allen
This song reminds me of a "shadows fall song"? Phils impact within that band over a decade ago paid off GREAT WORK, the song sounds much better and the influence should chime in to those that really know music of the genre they "LABEL" Stop labeling and listen to the great music and enjoy that bands like atr are putting out music for most to enjoy!
Stepson passed away during divorce , mother was diagnosed with cancer all after spending Thanksgiving by myself due to covid.....my life has fallen apart now im just waiting to die.......
This song just speaks. People need to stop doubting atr. These guys haven't lost shit.
Words of wisdom, I doubted atr for i while but now i think they've made a decent half and half album.
+Saylthecell seems like these last two have been half and half albums
Agreed.
True. I never understood the hate. This album is amazing! My second favourite album by them after This Darkened Heart
This song has everything one could ask for, the gut wrenching screams, the majestic cleans, sex worthy guitar parts, and the beautiful sound of the piano at the end, this is one of my all time favorites by ATR
Its a highly under rated ATR song, it delivers all their known for
It's my favourite song by them
Rest in Peace, Oli Herbert. you will be missed. Genius and one of the greatest of all time.
How did he died?
@@amiralishaninezhad5159
He drowned.
@Mezzy Mez
It's crazy that's it's been almost three years, and they're still investigating.
One of the best in metalcore. Not sure about all time no offense.
This song just proves how underrated ATR is.
They are literally the best metalcore band in the world and there really isn’t an argument for anyone else, not sure I’d classify them as underrated.
Hands down one of the most intense and beautiful songs I have ever heard in my life. Musically and lyrically...the song title alone couldn't be more perfect. I printed the lyrics and am going to frame them on my wall and read it everyday. I am so fucking inspired right now!
Couldnt agree more man i love this song
Im in agreement.
Best intro ever.
This song is easily one of their best songs.
EASILY.
It's a Masterpiece.
Yes.
This is a fucking masterpiece of ANY music genre, an absolutely incredible piece of music.
This song help me overcome many struggles
in about 5 years everyone will be saying there newest album sucks and this was awesome
Avery Lee Exactly. I'm glad you noticed that because every band goes through that bs.
They wrote a song on this album about that.
+Jeff Smith what was it called?
Ashley Heaven Victory Lap
they'll also say who is still watching in 2xxx
I remember going through some of the songs I used to listen to on Spotify a few months ago and found some older songs from ATR (This Calling and Not Alone to name a few) and clicked on the artist page to see if I could find some other cool songs. Damn, the second half of this album is miles ahead of he first half.
I know dude. Well Bite My Tongue is my least favorite off the new album, but other than that all the others the second half are pretty amazing. This is one of the best songs they've ever done.
I actually enjoyed Bite My Tongue.
DisturbedShadow The lyrics were a little choppy in places, but the transition from the smooth flow to a shredding solo more than made up for it.
Well Hi there DisturbedShadow. I agree.
1. Pernicious
2. A Reason For Me To Fight*
3. Criticism and Self-Realization
4. Fiat Empire
5. Victory Lap
6. Tru-Kvlt-Metal
7. The Greatest Generation
8. This Probably Won't End Well
9. Divide
10. For You
11. No Knock
12. Bite My Tongue*
There are only 2 exceptions for me. And they're marked with a *
DisturbedShadow Right!? Though I have to listen to this whole album at 1.25 speed.... except This Probably Won't End Well. Definitely odd
favorite song off of the new album.
Nicholas Smith A sweet surprise came with the new cd/tshirt/poster in the mail today. The poster is signed, fuck yeah! I've been listening to The Order of Things nonstop since midnight Tuesday. Thanks for making more bad ass music.
Definitely. Mine too.
I'm not who I fucking want to be. And it's all my fault. self doubt... setting limitations for myself. Giving up because I can't tell if I want the things I want for myself or for acceptance or to prove people from my past wrong...
Hey bro, are you doing any better?
Every time I listen to this song I get cold chills its just an amazing song hands down
Gotta respect All that remains for being creative.
This is metal not rock.
@@thursdayfivenine3106 agree, it's definetely metal. a bit on the softer side of metal, but still metal for sure
1:17 does anyone else hear those distant high pitched screams in the background? They appear when he says 'pride' and 'belong' So cool! They're barely audible but they add so much ambiance
no, its jeanne (the old bassist) singing the same as phil
Been a fan since 2004, always been told how much they suck, 14 years as a "commercial" band and they are still putting out some amazing music. they do it time and time again the emotion can be felt in every single one of there songs
4:50 I wish they didn't cut his solo
This is a really beatiful song.
definitely the best song off the new record
Darkness1511 I love your profile picture, guess you could say this song is something wild
Dat breakdown. Tightest double bass in mainstream metal.
Gorgeous song.
the most beautiful song i've ever heard !!!!
2022 Still Blasting this Bad Ass Song 🎵 🤪
There are so many songs, bands, content around. But there are a few that make your blood boil or freeze. And this is the case when you want to listen to a song without interruption. It's brilliant!
NO WAY
THEY JUST BROKE THE 4 MIN BARRIER THEY USUALLY ABIDE BY AGAIN
YESSSSS
Haha they did on half the songs on this album.
The Greatest Generation (4:00
For You (4:16)
Pernicious (4:02)
Bite My Tongue (4:08)
Fiat Empire (4:04)
And Criticism and Self-Realization (7:03)
But this is their longest song in their discography.
Home To Me (6:46) was their previous longest
Yes, this was the first song I ran into that did it. Hoping they will go 5, 6 and 7min more often
Adrian William I know when I saw 7:03 as its length about a month before the album came out I was like "Oooooh! That's gonna be epic!"
They really need to do this more often. They have so much more potential if they just stop kissing radio station ass!
I'm addicted to this song! Fcking good!
Saaaame
My favorite song off this album
The piano in the end is so sad.
Amazing.. but damn, that ending makes me depressed
One of the best songs on the album
I felt sadness when I heard this. I love the lyrics and everything else about this song. Excellent!
same here
Cant believe this song doesnt have more views.. great message..
ATR Keeps it hard when everythings goin soft.
Love all their songs listen to them in the shop all the time
Kick-ass, beautiful and epic. This and "Believe in Nothing" now share the number one spot.
For sure my favorite album from them.
That album is heavier I'm more straight up Rock but We Stand and Air I Breathe are 2 of my favorite songs from ATR
Honestly the intro caught me off guard
R.I.P. Oli..
Just stumbled upon this gem. They grew on me after a long long time.
This is the Bohemian Rhapsody of metal. Long, switches genres at least twice, and is renowned by many.
such an awesome song
Best ATR song ever!

That piano outro is so beautiful
Love this song!
Love the piano at the end
May sound stupid but is the ‘crackling’ sound intentional? New to them! Amazing
Great song
This song is amzing
Heavy fucking metal!!!
Best ATR in a long while! Wish I could say the same for the rest of the album!
finally one who shares my thoughts concerning this album.
The album has about 5 good songs , I personally loved it much more over the previous album
I gave it another listen and found 2 more songs I like a little, but yes it's still an improvement from the last album lol.
Joshua Pickett-McDevitt listen to divide it's a very good song
I can't deny it's a good song, but not heavy enough for me. I like a mix of soft and scream, some of which this album actually had, but it was just so poorly composed. I tried forcing myself to like it, but couldn't :/
I'm just holding out for Atreyu's new album, hoping it'll be something like Bleeding Mascara or Right Side of the Bed again.
God does this song hit home for me
Phil I love your Political Lyrics man. I hope the people get what this song is about. Very powerful lyrics Phil.
Perfeita! Muito linda essa música!
Awesome album guys! Nice artwork and the music as good as ever.
I knew All That Remains still had some great pieces to make after listening to the last album I fucking love this band
this reads like a great poem! this is awesome!
Best song on the album.
9 years i've loved this band, this helps reiterate why
this is awesomee !! So beautiful !
Of course bro

Love this song, love the entire album actually
THIS NEEDS A VIDEO and a BADASS one!
Such a great closing track for an album.
its not the closer ;) theres a secret song on this album
This is an excellent song. Definitely a pleasant surprise.
Could it be that I'm the only person who thinks that All That Remains boys have one of the best studio recording sound quality ever?
these guys are dope still good to hear them come back, big step up from last album
2:35 so good

By far the best song on the past two albums for all those ATR purists such as myself...
As much as i prefer early ATR, this is probably the best song they ever made.
The last time i heard this song, my brother and me where close,
4:18 Hell. Yeah.
breakdowns are good
I don't know about anybody but the piano intro and outro really remind me of the intro to FFX!...anybody else get that vibe??
Best song on the album. Also kind of reminds me of the old Avenged Sevenfold.
brilliant
Holy shit a part where he screams...FOUND IT!...1:43-2:12 now THATS the ATR that we all know.
Some bands, believe it or not, change. Sorry that you don't like it but this is what happens sometimes, bands do what they want to do!
They've changed a while ago....into something that is radio rock friendly. Remember TFOI? Yeah that's the All That Remains that I knew. Not this. Bands do what they want to do? I'm not stupid I know. They do what they want. Look at Of Mice & Men. First 2 albums were great, now they suck.
mets23569 They don't suck man, they just went a slightly different way :P they changed their clean vocalist and went a more alternative direction!
Fair. Valid for sure :P I really don't care for exact sub genres of sub genres of metal mate, please don't :P
Шедеврально!!!
hate on the new ATR as much as you want, but you cant deny how great this song is.
Reading the comments. Why is there supposedly hate for this album? Least from this song I don't see it. Is it a it's different so it's bad thing?
best song on the new album
This song reminds me of a "shadows fall song"?
