Its amazing how these trees start to become a personality. Every single time I work on, or even water, my little bonsai, I feel like im developing a relationship with a very old soul.... Ryan, you've really helped me see the way bonsai can bring us closer to nature on a level that is hard to quantify....
That is outstanding! It looks like the ancient gods of myth doing a dance, creating a world! You’ve come a long way Ryan. You should be justifiably proud of yourself.
Wow I like that bonsai tree. It has a lot of character all over it. It really exponentially show it's ancient age that makes you admire the tree and see the effort it went through all this years.
With just about every video I watch, I gain a new appreciation for bonsai. I love the dualistic and somewhat-contradictory aspects of bonsai. The bonsai is a work of art, but the artwork itself is the creator and the "artist" is just a caretaker.
This tree reminds me Kimura's Flying Dragon. Absolutely stunning. Ryan, you are very talented, I've been observing your journey for the last 10 years of so, you've progressed and matured so much. Best wishes!
Hello Bonsai Mirai: Ryan how is BIG BLUE during this Summer and Fall? Hope he like his New Style for the Future! May we see a Winter Look of BIG BLUE? Ryan what do you think of making a TShirt of BIg Blue on the Back of the TSHIRT and a Small Bonsai Mirai logo on the Front? I will take Gray and Tan t Shirt if you make them! Ryan you are a True Master Bonsai Teacher! All thoughts Dreams paid off for you. God Bless to You and All your Family. Peace. Greg of Ohio
It's nice to hear a bonsai professional be guided to a trees true path and not force the professionals ideas and force the latest take /style on whatever material will make an impact. You have considered your journey together without loosing vision of what's best for the tree and for that I'm truly happy and hope other adopt your ideals
Superb Yamadori... the way i see it in the future..is that 'Mirai' will accentuate the asymmetry even more to exhibit all the character of this tree..maybe by progressively shortening the long horizontal root system and be able to repot it in a shorter deeper pot to accentuate vertical movement? Also by working on the living area by opening empty spaces to move it along with all these fantastic shari and jin.....Discovering, Reading, Creating, Working and shaping empty spaces is one of the most challenging but also rewarding skill in the Art of Bonsai..
Hello Ryan. Very awesome story ,yes you are a Bonsai Master. Have Master Kimuari seen Big Blue? Hope you someday make aDVD on Big Blue. What does Randy thing about Big Blue? Thanks for show us this Master tre Big Blue. Greg of Ohio
Tjee, Listen: we don’t pretend to be that arrogant in Europe. No matter what you do, it wil come back to you and you don’t have to ask for it. Love from Hendrik, Amsterdam (Bonsaiist for 40 years)
I must say. This is what bonsai is all about. Taking a shrink ray gun and shrinking a tree that's a 1000 years old and planting it in a pot that is bonsi
It needs a pot that speaks to you better than that pot isn't the pot i hope a pot that is North American 1 day happens to find its path to that lovely tree.(the pot is to Asian focassed for me i would seek a few North Amercan potters to find a better suit)
