A great example of "if you need to know exactly what it'll cost, this isn't for you". Jesse did my car last summer, gave me a rough idea on cost, but this is just one of those things where you can't know the scope of work until you start cutting into the car. As he dug deeper there were more and more hidden issues and it cost nearly double the initial estimate. I still think it was a very fair price for the amount of work done, but if he had said "this should cost $X000" and I dropped the car off with $X001 in my bank account, it would've been a bad time. These jobs are huge and are not the same category as routine maintenance. Keep up the great work Jesse
The answer now for anyone who needs to know how much to do some totally unconventional job is: if you must know, I can not help. Not that its a secret but really just impossible to gauge other then showing previous examples, results and time spent on them. Then again we know that no 2 jobs are the same. If i could afford to do it for free, just to make vids, id do it all day. Host like a lottery for who is next 😂
If only I lived closer to you guys, I'd get my car redone by you guys in a heartbeat. You guys are always great to watch and I hope this channel gets the recognition it deserves for bringing old fun old cars back to life.
Makes sense. Keep fighting that good fight man. Patiently waiting in the wings for that paint job ; ) Love the content and quality of work coming out of TSS
Appreciate the sit down. I moved to BC from Fredericton about 10 years ago. Decent car culture in NB. Unfortunately fewer people are willing to spend what it costs to restore or rebuild. I think the trend is going to fade away more as time wears on. A car really needs to mean something to a person in order to spend what they could buying something pretty much new in comparison. There will always be the diehards that are willing to spend anything but like you said, they're not easy to find and more likely find you. You guys are making great content and staying consistent but it's a difficult battle against a saturated market. So many new channels reviewing cars and leaving it entirely to scripts written by paid writers hired on freelancer sites. All of the real content like this is being passed up for some text to voice app reading a script while drone shots of a car on a highway play in a loop. So many viewers are being lured away from real people on RUclips and it is a continually growing problem.
Well said brother 🙏 the truth indeed. Ultimately, Ill do this until I physically can’t one day. Its my passion regardless, I do feel there will always be the people that see the passion within our shop and the work here. I do certainly expect the demand to stay up, but as you said it would be from those deeply connected to their car. If I wasn’t able to do this work myself. I honestly dont know what id do. My bugeye wagon as an example, that car means the world to me. If a car could be your best friend, thats mine 😂 it was at the end of its life 2 years back. There would have been no shop in my province that would have fixed it for me. I spent a year working on it after hours to hopefully now give it another 20 years. But the feeling of having my car back and as good as new again, Priceless. People like me in that situation, those are the people that need this and I look forward to each of them.
Film some day to day shop activities, a vlog here and there and itll help take the channel up there. You guys do amazing work and deserve more views and subs.

100% labor of love.
What’s the best method of contacting you about a build?
Intsagram or email, we are typically always a year lead time for this kind of stuff though
