Tbh it’s really impressive to take a step back from the influencer world and get a more traditional job. You don’t see that happen a lot but I could see that being beneficial for a lot of people even if in some ways it feels like a step “backward”. Love u

Hell yeah I’m all for diversifying jobs! I love content creation and can’t see myself giving that part up but I also love serving others through my non profit job. So I have a regular full time job and then post whenever I feel like I can create quality content and ideas on RUclips without the pressure of being consistent. My soul craves slow living and nature so it’s hard for me to fully commit to the internet even if I could do it full time. We are here to see you win ❤️
I’m also in non-profit! And I’ll be starting posting content on YT soon. Nice to know that im not alone lol
I also have been in the nonprofit world for quite sometime lol & can’t seem to make time to create content. I really do miss it like a LOT but I think my circumstances may be weighing a little more on me to where I have no motivation. omg, im also the same with content creation (more with my blog & ig), but had to take a break because I felt like I needed to re-evaluate my needs and the type of life I want to live. i am a huge advocate for slow living & am happy you're in the space too. committing full time to the internet can be hard as a job so serving others through non profit or any other 9-5 to support yourself is more than okay. here to see you win as well 💞

Hey Jnay, my name is Berna and i am from Germany and watching your videos for a while now. This is my first time leaving a comment under a video. I enjoy watching your videos just so much. Everytime i watch one i am just happy and calm and i wish i could be your friend, because even if i dont know you, to me you seem like the most genuine and lovely person with a bomb character. You motivate me every time and in a way it feels like i can grow with you while watching your journey. Life is hard sometimes but you dont give up and you won't, because you are strong and you are enough.
Ps: I think your home looks fenomenal. You did a great job there and i am sure you will again if you decide to downsize. Keep going!

Totally agree on the working out in groups thing. I find it so motivating. Those first couple classes are so humbling because usually you're not great right away but then with consistency comes confidence and it becomes such a BOOST to go. Working out by myself at home does NOT work. Congrats on the interview! I follow a lot of planty people on YT and the number of them who end up quitting their day job is pretty high. Then they seem to get stuck in this endless circle of stress and worry over views/numbers/videos/content followed by burn out. TBH it seems EXHAUSTING. I could see YT being a wonderful salary boost instead of the main salary.
So sad you have to leave x that GORGEOUS apartment

Had such a messy job interview the other day. Definitely don't like them. I'm transitioning fields and I wasn't as well prepared as I should've been. Went half great and half terrible, and it was a dream opportunity, so I'm so bummed. 100% hear you on it being an experience with another human on the other end--gotta remember I'm human too and it was a learning experience.
Job interviews are the worst. I’m like; take my word for it. I can do the job
I love interviews, big fan of panel interviews. In college I would help conduct mock interviews and my friends would say I’m too into it 😂

I’m a recruitment consultant that does multiple interviews alllll day - It’s best when people are just normal and have a chat (I even grab people a cup of tea lol) - PS your videos are very comforting ☺️
Once I stopped viewing excerise as a physical need connected to being slim and more of a way to clear my mind, daily walks became a breath of fresh air. Been two years and I have kept the habit.
Omg I too left a mess for two days while my fiancé was out because I could and didn’t have to worry about it and I thought I was being a weirdo but I am glad I am not alone! I prefer clean spaces too and love cleaning.

Hey girl! I wouldn't say that I like interviews per say, but while I was interviewing for professional school someone reminded me that not only are they interviewing you, but you are also interviewing them! I am someone who gets overwhelmed when I feel that someone has the power to "make or break me" (such as granting me or denying me a job), so going into interviews made me feel powerless and that I was solely reliant on how the interviewer felt about me. But remembering that I also had power and that part of the interview is about me getting to know them too made me sooooo much more comfortable. I am passionate, knowledgeable, and good at what I do! And if I interview with someone and they dont like my answers or I dont like the vibe of the interviewer/company/program then maybe that is not a place I would enjoy working/being at anyway and not getting the job is not a big deal - I will find somewhere that I fit in. Remembering these things about myself and interviews has made me a lot less nervous when looking for new positions. I hope that helps you too for the future :)

i get stressed about everything, but job interviews are the rare exception to that!! remind yourself that while you may be there to convince them you're the one they want for the job, they ALSO need to convince YOU that the job is the one you want. you aren't the only one in the hot seat. it got a lot less anxiety-inducing for me when i realized that it goes both ways during an interview. it's just a conversation to see if it's gonna work for both parties. anyway, hope this helps someone! :)

I love job interviews, I just really enjoy the pressure and how quick my brain comes up with answers and conversation.
I feel like in situation that I'm expected to fail I feel a rush to perform well...
Downside: I have a problem commiting and I get bored once I get the job...

Costco is clutch for the frozen fruit. Good luck on the job hunt. I hate interviewing. I currently work from home, but also run a cottage bakery, and I get so overwhelmed sometimes since I typically work 7 days a week. I sometimes have to force myself to take time off. I've also been dealing with body image issues, too. Though I've really grown to enjoy your content as a new subscriber, I fully support your choice in stepping back for yourself.

The landlord telling you about the rodents was honorable! I saw a unit twice the third time I signed the Lease it was literally THAT DAY after me walking them downstairs from the unit they ask “oh I hope you have a cat or not allergic for the mice” exact quote😤😤😤
I definitely understand wanting to take a step back from social media. I also struggle with being on it as well. Before wanting to become a full time artist, I didn’t even use my Facebook or IG. Now that I work as a part time nurse and a part time artist, I struggle with my “social media work time” becoming overwhelming. I hope you get your job and find a fulfilling balance. 💕

As for job interviews, I think the mindset should change from "Pick me please" to a confident one when you know what you bring to the table, and it's an opportunity for you to meet new people and get more details about this job offer. Often, jobs are advertised as dream jobs when in reality nobody wants it for a reason 😉😉😉 good luck, just be yourself and know your worth Queen !

I kinda love job interviews, I have 5 this month and I thrive in them. Look at it as a chat between too business driven people and just make small talk, try to have a laugh and like you said they are also just humans.

I'm soooo envious of the apartments in your hunt. I'm currently apartment hunting in Austin, Texas, and the options are abysmal. There's nothing cute and vintage. It's all basic boxes with identical layouts. Maybe I just need to give up the goat and go out to LA. LOL
PS: I actually do sorta enjoy interviews. And first dates. I'm less worried about myself and more curious to know everything about the other person (or the company). NOSY! Hahahaha
