Solo trip to Tanzania, climbing Kilimanjaro on the 8 day Lemosho Route. Please comment any questions you have. If you are thinking of making the climb I would love to help. Please do your research when picking a trekking company and TIP your heart out to these guys. They work so hard and they truly make the trip. I'm doing Machame Route in 2 weeks solo. Great video I wanted to do the Lemosho Route but I just wanted to rest before the hike. I should be on the summit January 1, 2022.

Cool vid! I’m climbing Kilimanjaro lemosho route in two months. I’m wondering how much you were tipping each day to the porters, guides etc? Thanks!

Hey thanks a lot for watching ! I ended up tipping in total somewhere around $440ish for the 8 day route. (Maybe a little more) we tipped as a group and divvied up at the end. $20-$25 per day guides, $15 cook, $12-15 for assistants and $8-$10 for the porters. And I think everyone was happy with that. I also tipped extra to porters and guides that went above and beyond , separately. As you will find out they work so so hard and are the best, honestly I wish I would have tipped even more, some of them only earn $5-$7 for the entire day of work, so make sure your company is fair certified :) I hope that helps !
