Oh, that actually seems really cool. Can see the setup being a pain, and I do have a thought that would fix it, although it would be a mechanical change. If each player got a random bunch of tiles in a bag, representing their leads, and would draw from it one at a time and discard face-up into the middle of the table from which any player could take at any time. Shouldn’t change a huge amount, but would eliminate a lot of the setup pain.
I don't understand why you're worried about keeping them face down when packing up? They're just sitting in the box. Next time you set it up, you just flip them all over anyway, then you just randomly sprawl them around till you forget where the face up ones were...
@@BoardGameCo Fair, I just would've thought it wouldn't be that hard to get the majority in the bag one way and then fix the rest when setting up next time.
Seems like a great little filler! I could imagine enjoying this after a game of Everdell. I like the puzzle of Tetris games, but the thematic integration this and Patchwork have are really important to me. Thanks for the review!

Thank you so much for the review, Alex!

The amount of work to flip them individually is annoying. It's not about remembering.

I was thinking the same thing! Pull out of bag, flip tokens over. Shuffle, done.
I like the Galaxy Trucker comparison! That helps me a lot.
Glad I could help :)
A question on setup and teardown, can you not just throw them all in a bag and sort them the next time you play? It sounds dead simple to me
Flipping all the tiles the same way is a pain.

I love the art and theme, but i feel like i and everyone i play with would be terrible at it and have a bad time playing
I talk fast, but jesssus man. Take a breath 😅
:)
Yeah, nah! Real-time games aren't my thing and so, even though there's a turn-based variant, this wouldn't get to the table.
I don't mean to bee mean but this game does not look intreaging
Ty for the video!
Lol fair :)
