I have always loved this song. I just came here to listen to it again. But then I realized how brilliantly this video is done! Bob starts of well shaved, well groomed, properly dressed with a relaxed facial expression. But the further he gets into the song the more careless, carefree, dissheveled he becomes, more passionate, bordering to crazy even. Genious! It's the little things: a look here, a raised eyebrow there, a shrugging shoulder, the laughing of the man on the left with the huge gap between his teeth, the timing of the dancers... Magnificent! I keep watching the video over and over again and not just for the song/the singing/the music itself, but the whole video is a masterpiece!

The video further clarifies the point of the song - disappointed about stolen donations (Live Aid) trying to convince himself that he doesn't care... really great song ❤
I remember him talking with an interview about it. They were trying to come up with a simple defining visual hook like Bob Dylan’s placards in “Subterranean Homesick Blues” but didn’t want to just use that outright. Someone pointed out his reputation for being a bit of “a scruffy git” and the idea grew out of that.
This guy saved my life when I was 20, 40 years ago..and he doesn’t know it. But he did. And I’m so grateful. Eternally grateful.

I don't know how many timnes you'd have to listen to this song before you'd get tired of it: I listen to it 2-3 times a week in the car and have done since the album came out, always with the volume UP and it never fails to lift my spirits. Genius in action.
