You are correct. The headlights should be a led bulb.

Can you explain how you got 50.8 MPG at the end shot. When the whole video of the actual drive averaged around the LOW 40s MPG!? Seen in purple on the dash screen in purple and the info screen behind the wheel.

You'll get on average on a relatively level journey on highway 850- 900km. That is our experience with our top of the range touring Kia Niro. Pretty impressive considering it only holds 45 litres of gas which equates to approximately ten imperial gallons . It's fast uphill when you floor it as the electric motor kicks in with added torque.

How do you open gas filler door?

Don't like the headrest - gives my neck a pain by pushing my head forward and blocks turning head to see out back windows.

Black arrow panel does not look sporty - does not show off like it does on a white or red car. Wonder how a white panel would look instead?

    I like halogen headlights better.

Thought the SX was to top of the hybrid - LX, EX and then SX., not in the middle.

5 trim levels on the Niro hybrid. LX, EX, EX Touring, SX, SX Touring.

@@chabbysrides Thanks for taking the time to reply and letting me what you meant. Your video helped me to decide to try to live with the headrest and got a SX Touring. But on the way home, I found the cabin was very noisy on the toll road. Someone told me it was the tires I hear and the wheel well needs insulation to quiet it down (could not hear the radio without turning it sooo loud) - is this true or do I learn to live with it?

I haven’t experienced that and I have driven 4 different cars. Two hybrids and two EV’s. I test drive with the radio off too, so that kind of noise seems odd to me.

@@chabbysrides Again thanks for the reply. I tried 3 SX Touring hybrids on city streets but when it comes to turnpikes, very very noisy - we had to shout to talk to each other. 😞

Th Kia Niro will not get 600 miles of range unless you are driving on the flat land in Wyoming and keeping your speed between 60 to 65 mph. It is a nice vehicle overall for the price.

It shows at 9s that average mpg was 23 mpg! Wt.. seriously? That's lower than non hybrids.

You get two readings. One is average since tank filled and the other reading is your average fuel economy from your initial cold start to where you decide to stop. The short trip will penalize the average if you've just started the car in the morning when the engine is completely cold. It's much more economical than a straight internal combustion engine
