As an owner of 12 first gen Corsair LL fans....yes. They were awesome before everyone's got something like it. but so worth it 6 years ago. Now they are kind of out of date but still look about the best.
No. They want politicians and employers to start realising if they want those who work for them to be able to do so they need to raise their salaries so they can purchase the tech required to run the companies. No tech, no companies.
You can find a case with 32 fans but screw me if I need a decent case that'll hold 10-12 HDDs. Thought I found one on amazon and you can't close the back because there is zero room for cable connected to the drive.
I think the Phanteks G500 should be able to hold around that many. 4 underneath by the PSU and then 8 in the front after buying about 4 extra HDD holders. And there's still 3 spots for 2.5" drives apart from that. Not sure what kind of PSU would have enough SATA cables for that so no idea if that means more requirements on the case. The Thermaltake C750 takes about 12, if they're all 2.5.

Could even be for over enthusiasts.. remember Origin built a machine with an Xbox, PS4 AND Pc wrapped into one.. so if you have a ton of money, you could definitely create a monster with this case
It's actually decent for a dual PC build, as shown. It has enough room for each build to have its own cooling. Then there's the people who want to run multiple GPUs on water. Then there's people who just want big extravagant water cooling builds. The 1000D got sales. The Lian Li 5000 whatever got sales and they're also ~$500 cases around this size. A lot of people call the Thermaltake C750 too big but it's actually pretty tight after I built it. It's a bit of a misnomer to talk about the fans. It's actually the amount of radiator space that actually matters. It's damn near useless for air cooling.
It is for watercooling. Like 1000D was, just the best case for LCS. Have 2x480 and 2x360 radiators with 2 pumps, located comfortably. With 9000D they have eliminated two last issues - unremovable (unless drilling) HDD cage and blind front limiting the air intake.
as a 1000D owner I will likely sell my 1000D for this chassis. I think Corsair missed an opportunity not calling this a "9001D" so it would be over 9000. I'm available for hire if they need someone more competent on their marketing team.
Why? There's next to nothing new in 9000D to warrant selling 1000D. The only things I'd wish to have from the new case are front IO and front grill. And knowing Corsair - they will be selling those as spare parts, you can just get them separately and bring your 1000D up to date. That's what I'm gonna do anyway.

I'm sorry, but selling shit fans for shamingly expensive will not make those fans "premium". They should maybe do some R&D and try to get close to Phanteks, P12-P12 Max, etc... then they can start adding iCue Link and price to their products. I had to change my Corsair fans to P12 Max fans. They cost a fraction, running on lower rpm, less noisy and the temperatures are also lower. Of course, no iCue link, but first the function, then the looks. At the end of the day these are cooling fans, not rotating light sources. Saying this with a Corsair chassis, AiO, etc...
I don’t really get this case tbh. I know it has a very niche market anyway, I just think it’s nasty. I think Corsair is slipping compared to so many other brands when it comes to cases.
Everyone is just visiting the same stands and making the same videos with pretty much the same title. What other stands are there, I saw Jonsbo are there, not that it would be the most watched video but at least nobody else has done one.
For a PC case of $500 I can just get a Silverstone RM51 for less money and buy some rails to put into the rack enclosure. I do not need all that cool look as long as a computer is functional for me. And I do not care for all this RGB crap. I'm not really the target market for tempered glass computer cases.
thats only fans, since when would you have streaming on the same pc, as the content. not very wise setup. studio pc is separate from the content, say xbox content and streaming pc. oh you mean aluminated system. are you sure its air you are breathing. if you make a curvy patterned panel, its more rigid. less flat is more rigid. its kinda like 3d panel, not 2d. orignal case style is just fine. but if you have a case that can transform into both then better. larger size for the single sided interior.

That 3500X seems terribly made... Compared to that, 4000D Airflow is a tank
