Such a beautiful hymn. I love how the older hymns are like a mini sermon. Their lyrics are usually not just the same thing over and over. And the truth of them just shine out. Thank you Jesus for coming to save us!
I totally agree! Was recently recording one for the next album - The Spacious Firmament on High. Had to read through the lyrics several times to really get what was being said, but the journey was worth it!
