Yeah it’s definitely benefits of a cab over truck shorter and lightweight but back in the 80s when the overall length laws changed that style the truck start going out of style 40 years ago here in the USA so at the moment nobody offers that here in the USA

Have you ever bumped into a dock in Elizabeth, NJ and your tractor is sticking out and blocking the traffic… and your too afraid to detach your tractor while they are unloading you because your afraid you might not be able to re-attach to your trailer because the dock is dug out so steep the loading area was never meant for your tractor trailer.

Cab is too small for the comfort of driver. Take a look at the bed the bed is too narrow that nobody can sleep there with ease. If I talk about the comfort of driver which is the most important thing on long journeys the cab isn’t suitable for that .
Just finished driving a 2018 2848, pulling light loads in a quad curtainsider.........not a good puller and a cramped driving position. Awful but typical plastic cab interior trim......makes a great fleet motor Im sure but not a lot to attract a discerning driver!

The problem with the Japanese trucks they are all day cap trucks coz in Japan they don't sleep in the truck at all
