My late spouse told me when he was a child (age 6), he and his sister age (9) were kidnapped while walking to the store. The perpetrator only wanted his sister, but he felt compelled to follow, hoping that he could fight the dude. But he knew they were both doomed because the guy had a knife. The guy forced them towards an abandoned home in the neighborhood, as the guy broke out a window, and made the sister go inside, an older gentleman in a house adjacent to the abandoned home came out the door, and asked what was going on. This made the perpetrator run, my husband stated this act alone was the only reason that he and his sister were alive after that. He stated he looked at the man, and no words were exchanged, but the man knew he was grateful. The man told them to get out of there and get home. My spouse stated they both ran like their lives depended on it. People if you see something, say something. And Crimestoppers should be ashamed.

My late spouse told me when he was a child (age 6), he and his sister age (9) were kidnapped while walking to the store. The perpetrator only wanted his sister, but he felt compelled to follow, hoping that he could fight the dude. But he knew they were both doomed because the guy had a knife. The guy forced them towards an abandoned home in the neighborhood, as the guy broke out a window, and made the sister go inside, an older gentleman in a house adjacent to the abandoned home came out the door, and asked what was going on. This made the perpetrator run, my husband stated this act alone was the only reason that he and his sister were alive after that. He stated he looked at the man, and no words were exchanged, but the man knew he was grateful. The man told them to get out of there and get home. My spouse stated they both ran like their lives depended on it. People if you see something, say something. And Crimestoppers should be ashamed.
