Thanks! "This B-movie comedy was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Musical Score." also, "On the June 14, 1951 episode of the radio series Suspense, The Truth About Jerry Baxter, 33-year-old William Tracy played the title character, a teenage marijuana addict. The episode claimed to be drawn from actual events, but is more like a radio version of Reefer Madness." "From there he faded away into relative obscurity. He died in 1967 at age 49 in Los Angeles."

It was great to see a funny movie again. Thank you.
The Hollywood we have today stinks. I don't watch anything made after the year 2001, so I enjoy finding good old movies.

Well think of it humans for years, this world rode around in horses and cars or motorcycles and if we needed or had a problem we maybe could walk to a house and use the phone. Now you don't leave the house without your phone You're covered just like the ship.

A well-crafted documentary about the service. It was all fun and games until December when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor.

right after this movie was released, the Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor, and the military wasn't' funny any more

But Hal Roach kept making funny war films with these people. More then one or two! The public needed some laughs.
