I hate to get all that done and not have it work out . I should include I’m 67 in two days and retired . I have three grandkids that would help me in their twenties. Because of this covid thing two of them lost their jobs , their always asking for work from me on my homestead. I’m getting a 12 ft. Dump trailer to pull with my F-150 4x4 to start off with , if anything I can use it on my homestead. Was going to get a 14 foot trailer but I think it might be too much for it after awhile. Question...say you have a customer when you first start out and you give them a crazy low price ( because you dont know any better) and they become repeat customers. How do you go about telling them you can no longer honor that price per truckload? Or do you keep them at what they were paying since they helped build you up?

    • @SonomaStrong
      @SonomaStrong  3 года назад

      I answered this in a video, Matt said he would slowly raise the price and explain to them.

    Really like you guys videos. Can you make a video on how to bid loads. When biding do you keep in mind the dump fee?

    • @SonomaStrong
      @SonomaStrong  4 года назад +1

      Here is a link to a video that talks about pricing. Each place is different depending on your economy and your dump fees. Yes you always keep in mind the fees for dumping. Appliances and mattresses etc. cost more. ruclips.net/video/xUP_OYgjwJY/видео.html. Thanks for watching the videos.

    So I already have a big truck, 2020 GMC Sierra Denali 2500 diesel which is my personal vehicle i was able to afford from my current job. I was looking into purchasing a Gooseneck 20ft dump trailer from JP Trailer. Would you say thats a little too much to start off with as far a trailer?

    I’m assuming over time u figure out about how much junk u have in weight wise to figure in ur dump fees. So when u go look at bidding a job and seeing what all needs to be hauled off u learn well this will be about 3 tons or 6 tons of junk so u figure that in on ur bid ?

    • @SonomaStrong

      Yes, the more jobs you do the more you learn. You will find that sweet spot where you live and discover what works for you.
