Great video! I've become more cynical about politics as I've gotten older. I believe politicians on both sides get their base whipped up and distracted over hot topic issues with no intent of solving them. All the while, they line their pockets and increase their power so they can retire as lobbyists.
100% agree Matt. I've actually blocked SO many people out of my life, including family, for blindly following one side or the other. In many many ways I identify as conservative. I do have some progressive ideas but I can no longer associate myself with one party or the other. Nor can I associate with these hardcore weirdos anymore. I was actually worried when I saw the title of this video. I am SO glad we are like minded on yet another topic.
Thank you brother, tell the truth. United we stand, Divided we fall. We put too much in trying to be right all the time instead of understanding one another and grow stronger together. Our differences are our strengths that can bring us together to face anything.
Thank you, great message and really speaking to how I feel and pretty much always have. I'm a middle of the road guy. Good advice from my grandpa's generation was to avoid talking politics, religion, or sex unless you keep it light or there's a really compelling reason. There's a lot of other things to talk about ; )

Right LOL K, I stand for individual freedoms and liberty. Unity is just another communist buzzword like “the collective”. Communist must have Unity to initiate their totalitarian control. And at the top of that control list is getting all guns out of citizens possession. One gun control law at a time. Just look how desperate Biden is to ban AR’s, & regular capacity magazines! And sadly the commies are in control.

I honestly want to agree. But the issue becomes that you need a central set of ideals to unify around. We no longer have that as a nation. The arguement of the need for unity is long past being made. It doesn't matter what the majority thinks if they allow themselves to be cowed into a corner by poltical elite. It doesn't matter what they think if they will not stand up for anything when it's taken. We do need unity but the amount of divergence between factions is too great. I cannot have unity with those who find the entire founding of the nation to be illegitimate. If you cannot agree on the founding principles of the nation then you effectively have nothing to unify around.
95% + of people that work for a living would take a 50% off coupon to the grocery store. I want politicians to use the same conservative principles we all live by in our lives when they spend my money for me. Simple.
Hard to come together with people who wanna take your rights and freedoms and kill babies. Also hard to have respect for people who try to steal your childrens innocence. Ive always been in the middle. But its getting harder and harder to lean left on anything. They are most definitely the extreme party. Its very frustrating. I agree with you.
I try to be a Christian and I cannot align with any political party that supports killing babies. I don't hate all democrats, but I strongly dislike many of them. Same for republicans, to be fair. Like you, I am very pro liberty. Furthermore, our pro liberty beliefs are backed by the scripture that I believe.
