WOW things have changed. I stayed in St Joseph back in the late 70's with Oliver Joachim. ( Maronie) he would be in his late 70's now if he's still alive. Dought his little shack is still standing after all the hurricanes . It was some crazy times.
Thanks for sharing the fantastic aerial view of the carnival opening! The trucks are so big and I noticed people touching the electricity cables overhead! Isn't that dangerous!

They're not the high voltage wires, these are telecommunications wires
