    My knitting skills are fairly basic but I made these in just a couple of hours and am pleased with the way they turned out. Thank you for making it so easy to follow.

      Hi kind request I love to do with two needles most of your projects are in double pointed needles can you please do with flat needles... Thank you dear😊😊😊😊

    • @BundleInABasket
      @BundleInABasket  8 лет назад +1

      Yes, I have been re-doing some of my videos that were completed using double pointed needle to just two needles. I'm also going to make 2 playlists so you can find the 2 needle work easier and I'll put the DP ones in the other just in case anyone else wants those.
      Thanks for your feedback

    Hi dear sorry for disturbing you I plan to start this mittens but found I have all needles in 2mm, 2.5mm, 3mm, 3.5mm and found that I don't have 3.75mm can you please suggest sizes of the needles I have and I am planning to do of your video 3-6 months mitten. Thank you dear☺☺☺

    • @BundleInABasket
      @BundleInABasket  8 лет назад +2

      Don't worry you're not disturbing. That's okay because you wanted to make a newborn size all you have to do is use the 3 mm and follow the video exactly. Using smaller needles makes the mitten smaller, this way you don't have to figure how many stitches you need to cast on, and it means you can forget about what I was saying in my reply to your last comment. Let me know how you get on.

    This is a stupid question but how many rows to reach 5"/13cm?

    • @BundleInABasket
      @BundleInABasket  7 лет назад +4

      Tanya Vong Hi, that's not a stupid question I usually write both measurements and rows but I forgot to count them sorry, luckily I kept the mitten. You should knit about 17 rows then your whole mitten should measure 13 cm.

    This is the simplist video I have found. Thank you! How would I make them for a 9-12 month old? How many more stitches etc?

    • @BundleInABasket
      @BundleInABasket  7 лет назад

      Hi, thanks for your comment. To make it larger I would suggest you cast on 4 to 8 more stitches and start your decreases at K6, K2tog, Purl all, K5, K2tog, etc... Alternatively you can use bigger needles and follow the pattern exactly as it's shown in the video or use a thicker yarn.

      Hi I have a video on 0-3 months mittens ruclips.net/video/bBTfw8519jg/видео.html
      I find that making the 0-3 months ones are better as you'll use them longer than a newborn size.

    How many stitches of stickinette equals 5 inches?? Feels like a lot of wasted time doing the cuff just to find out there are no instructions for the hand part of the mitten.

    Hi thanks for sharing this wonderful video☺☺☺can you please tell me how to knit mittens for newborn baby. Thank you ☺☺☺☺

    • @BundleInABasket
      @BundleInABasket  8 лет назад +3

      Hi! Thank you. These mittens can be used for newborns as they are on the smaller side, but if you'd like to make them fit exactly for a newborn, then I would suggest casting on 20 sts, rib for 10-12 rows, stockinette stitch for 4 or 4.5 inches then decrease the exact same way as stated in the video.
      It's trial and error when it comes to sizes as every baby is born differently. I hope this helps, If you need any more assistance just let me know.
