Shouldnt ask a child to do something when "no" isnt an option. First lesson I learned when I started teaching. "We have to put all the toys away before we can go home" is much clearer😊
I'm a fan of asking as an options way sometimes as well, as in, ''do you want to put it back yourself or will I put it back?'' mostly for later nursery age kids, like 3/4+ where they're seeking more independence and control, etc
I was gonna say this 😂 Working on not ending my sentences with "Okay?" with toddlers at work. They don't pick up on the nuance that I am asking if they understand what I am saying. They only hear it as a choice. ...and then look at me with a very clear "No" on their face and I have the audacity to make them do it anyway because there was a misunderstanding. 😂

@@thatgayelfprinx oh yeah i love that method
Good on that other mom stepping in. That little "prince" is being trained to be a full time brat.
Cheers for the adult who came to help in sticky situation! I could never be so patient towards mother who doesn't respect the rules 🙄
For the fallen minimum wage earners
Love your stuff
I love how people raise their children to be opposite of princes, and still call them such.
Gentle parenting at its finest and we wonder why lids are growing up so spoiled
