Amen. What a memorial to John the Baptist who had just died. The timing is perfect; because: Jesus was mourning him; in a deserted town; resting himself in a boat; looking at the rolling waves; and the boat; symbolizing a coffin; Jesus could not attend the funeral because: there was no funeral. Worse, his cousin was beheaded; and therefore, no memorial service. When he was feeling down; the crowd came; TO HEAR HIM; because: they loved him. And so, why stay in that mourning period; when he can change it around; because: after all he is THE LIVING God; where the FISH AND THE GRAIN WORSHIP. He looked down and saw fish swimming. He looked to the land; and saw wheat fields. "TODAY I AM GOING TO TURN IT AROUND; IN HONOR OF JOHN THE BAPTIST" - as he mused. He stepped out of the boat; and the rest is history. IN YOUR DOWN TRODDENESS - GOD CAN TURN IT AROUND; and make an accruement increase.

I was in tears during this video because my husband David passed 6 years ago. I really miss him. I am also sad for my daughter and son-in-law who love children and have not had their own yet. She works at a preschool/daycare center and is loved and loved by some of these little ones. My son-in-law as a Knight of Columbus is trying to help support the families and children of their parish. I pray for all priests every day and my little family could use some "cyber hugs" today. Many thanks for this service and for all the people who make it possible.
God, who is love and who created man and woman for love, has called them to love. By creating man and woman, he called them to an intimate communion of life and of love in marriage. Original sin has caused a rupture in this God-given communion between man and woman and is very often threatened by discord, jealousy, conflict, and infidelity. However, God, in His infinite mercy, gives to man and woman the grace to bring the union of their lives into accord with the original divine plan. The Sacrament is intended to be fruitful and multiplied with God’s blessings.
August 7, 2023 Do you have 45 seconds to pray for Souls in Purgatory with me? According to tradition, St. Gertrude the Great was told by Our Lord that each time she piously recited the following prayer, it would release 1,000 souls (or a vast number) from their suffering in purgatory: The Prayer of St. Gertrude Eternal Father, I offer Thee the Most Precious Blood of Thy Divine Son, Jesus, in union with the masses said throughout the world today, for all the holy souls in purgatory, for sinners everywhere, for sinners in the universal church, those in my own home and within my family. Amen.
Love this prayer, we do it at mass after the rosary and I attend a prayer group with some ladies, we do the chaplet of divine mercy, the patriotic rosary for our nation and a few other prayers, including this one. We pray it 3 times to release 3,000 souls in purgatory.

I always wonder what God expects from failed marriages. I also wonder about the place of marriage annulment that seem to only come after failed marriage and never a thought or any discussion when marriage seems to be working, even if there were genuine reasons for the marriage not to have taken place.
I lost my husband on 10/27/2020 and my son died from Broken Heart Syndrome 3 days later. My son said I can't live without my Dad. We had a double Funeral Mass.
God created holy matrimony for good but it’s distorted because of sin. I pray for all Catholic couples who were married through the church and seperated / divorced with someone else. It seems to be a common thing now a days. I also would like prayers for my marriage we got married through Church in 2021.
If you get married to someone who turns out to be unfaithful and a serial cheater, are you allowed to divorce them or will you end up being stuck with them until death?
No one should remain in an abusive relationship whether it is physical, mental, spiritual or all of the above. One should seek counseling and an annulment if the counseling doesn't work. ❤🙏❤
@@United_Continental_767 You have to have a civil divorce before you can start the annulment process, if I'm remembering correctly from when I did mine 20 years ago.
Since the love between a man and a woman reflects the love god has for man, then the love between a same sex couple should also reflect god's love, since god is love.

Day 219
I am so used to listening and reading this podcast on RUclips that this morning I didn't get / have the alert and I searched for it and I couldn't find it. 😂😅
You are not the only one to do so. 😅
Have your daughter and son-in-law looked into adoption or foster care? God bless.
Praying for Fr. Mike & CIY 🙏🙏🙏 Today about mid way down on CIY Day 219 is the Marian Consecration by TrixRN day 26🥰

Hope all is well Fr. Mike. I usually listen on my 6am morning drive to the office but was a bit worried when I didn't see you😢. But thank God ❤
I'm praying to be able to meet my future spouse and to be blessed with the sacrament of holy matrimony and healthy children. Amen.

Do you have 45 seconds to pray for Souls in Purgatory with me?
According to tradition, St. Gertrude the Great was told by Our Lord that each time she piously recited the following prayer, it would release 1,000 souls (or a vast number) from their suffering in purgatory:
The Prayer of St. Gertrude
Eternal Father, I offer Thee the Most Precious Blood of Thy Divine Son, Jesus, in union with the masses said throughout the world today, for all the holy souls in purgatory, for sinners everywhere, for sinners in the universal church, those in my own home and within my family. Amen.
Love this prayer, we do it at mass after the rosary and I attend a prayer group with some ladies, we do the chaplet of divine mercy, the patriotic rosary for our nation and a few other prayers, including this one. We pray it 3 times to release 3,000 souls in purgatory.
🙏❤🙏
Maria, Chrissy, and I have the covid. Please pray that I am well enough to go on a pilgrimage on 11/4 to Saint Joseph's Abbey, I have never been on a pilgrimage before, and this might be my only chance.
Greetings Father Mike,
Thoughts :-
-> Message reflect with, "The Holy Matrimony forms Spiritual Communion with Continuous Exchange of Love with Faithful Affirmation towards Lord Jesus Christ in every sense in all aspects of Life."
-> Thanks Father, Team Ascension Press for Wonderful Message.
With regards,
Ranjith Joseph (R.J)
I always wonder what God expects from failed marriages.
I also wonder about the place of marriage annulment that seem to only come after failed marriage and never a thought or any discussion when marriage seems to be working, even if there were genuine reasons for the marriage not to have taken place.
Am sure it will be explained on the upcoming episodea.
I don't find divorce wrong. In fact it is the most likely moral thing you could do. To release someone from their vows.
I lost my husband on 10/27/2020 and my son died from Broken Heart Syndrome 3 days later. My son said I can't live without my Dad. We had a double Funeral Mass.
God bless you. ❤️
So now they both rest in the arms of Jesus; How Great Thou Art How Great Thou Art ❤

I missed this song last year. I really like it. 💙🙏 I am redoing the Marian Consecration by TrixRN again and am on day 26❤
@@dianefrank3688 Hi Diane! How are you? Are you ok with Hurricane Debbie?😊
What does the church teach about what happens to the covenant after one partner dies?
God created holy matrimony for good but it’s distorted because of sin. I pray for all Catholic couples who were married through the church and seperated / divorced with someone else. It seems to be a common thing now a days. I also would like prayers for my marriage we got married through Church in 2021.
If you get married to someone who turns out to be unfaithful and a serial cheater, are you allowed to divorce them or will you end up being stuck with them until death?
No one should remain in an abusive relationship whether it is physical, mental, spiritual or all of the above. One should seek counseling and an annulment if the counseling doesn't work. ❤🙏❤
@@KB_2161 Thank you! So does that mean that in such cases, the bible allows annulment but not divorce?
@@United_Continental_767 You have to have a civil divorce before you can start the annulment process, if I'm remembering correctly from when I did mine 20 years ago.
@@paularoussel7859 Thank you for your insight 😀😀
There is Sacramental Marriage and there is Natural Marriage. All these alternative anti-creative sexual orientations exist but are lesser.
Since the love between a man and a woman reflects the love god has for man, then the love between a same sex couple should also reflect god's love, since god is love.
*Perhaps not exactly "helper", Here's a short analysis of the Hebrew definition of the word "ezer Kenegdo" used to describe the creation of woman in Genesis: ruclips.net/video/5Vv-E3n1ZTs/видео.html
