I watched ninjago masters of spinjitzu myself and I would NOT call garmadon a villain, he really wasn't a villain, yes he had the antagonist role, but that does NOT mean everyone in that role is a villain. antagonist, in the terms of fiction, only means they OPPOSE the protagonist, not that they're an evil-doer. actually garmadon was Lloyd's ACTUAL father and Llyod himself wasn't a very good morality character at first either, he actually sided with the snakes at first and never knew garmadon was his father, all he knew was that he never saw his father but didn't know why. Garmadon and Llyod nearly went down the same paths in life, the only reason garmadon did was because he wouldn't listen to the sensei who also happened to be his brother, Llyod did however listen and became a ninja to try and find his father, almost having gone down the same path but revoked it before it was too late, but almost went down it several times throughout the show but never did go down it fully. the show was complicated when it comes to the characters. none of them were simple, not even Zane, a fucking nindroid(ninja+android)
