The first thing out of my mouth, was why did they take him to the parking lot? Deep into the parking lot, nowhere near the entrance. Why didn't they do it right where they violated his rights? I think it may have had a little to do with saving face, but mostly to let all those witnesses, (particularly white people) to believe he was a criminal, committing a crime with his children in tow. He had dreadlocks, so do half of the black men. That's a very vague description to walk up accuse and handcuff someone. That's just like saying he was black with a short haircut, or he was white with blonde hair. I hope he Sue's and wins LOADS, for him and his family.

@Sam 7 I don't understand your logic. So if Mr. Mackey was the actual perpetrator, then your rational would mean, the police would just have to let him go because he refused to talk to them. Interesting, I think that would be a gold mind for criminals. All they would have to do is stay silent, and police would have to immediately let them go. No detainment and no arrest. Geez, I am in the wrong profession in that case, I could just come over to your house and rob you. Then when you give the police my description and they see me in the area, me as in someone that looks like the description you provided, all I have to do is say I don't want to talk to you, and they have to let me go on my way. Awesome!...Great logic to fit your narrative. Think!

says the guy who cant even spell the word Sergeant, call your 3rd grade teacher and tell her your ready to come back to school, topics of importance lose focus when stupid people try adding to the conversation, you can do your part to help by Not Speaking Again

@@thecomingdawn Let me know when you're finished with your minor exercise in self-congratulation. Then we'll see what *you* actually have of value to contribute to this discussion. I would say the sergeant committed an act of false or unlawful imprisonment, which warrants prosecution.

@@greggross8856 So im guessing your with stupid thinking this officer is going to do jail time for doing his job, Other than learning a lesson in humility no harm was done to this man, and reform is hard to come by when people thing that it means extreme actions for minor infractions. I contribute what i can in making sure people are treated with equality and plenty of people listen, But whos listening to you?
